Default FIFA U-20: Spain/Venezuela

The words
"We are aware of what Spain can do. They know how to hurt you when you give them too much space, they're quick, skilful and experienced, and they are candidates for the world title. But as for fear, well we're not frightened of anything." Venezuela coach Cesar Farias

"We put a lot into the game against Nigeria and we'll need to keep an eye on cards and the amount of effort the players put in. That said, we'll be going into the Venezuela game with the same objective as the previous matches, and that's to get the win." Spain coach Luis Milla

Both teams have qualified for the next round with 6 points each. Spain tops the group on goal difference. Listen to what I'm about to say next. Neither team has conceded a goal. Spain are the favorites according to bookmakers but they've already qualified for the next round and only need a draw to finish atop the group. One expects both coaches to rest their most valuable players and instruct the scrubs to play tight. Having scored a combined total of 19 goals between them, the whole world will be fooled into playing Over in this game but one expects a replica of the Brazil U-20/Czech U-20 game that ended in a goalless draw.

Leans:

Spain/Venezuela draw +300

Under 2.5 +105

The above are only leans. Let's get more input and find something to cash on in this game.

The under is a good play considering the value but the strongest play here is either the Draw or take Venezuela if they are listed as +1.5 (my book still hasn't come out with lines for under-20 yet)

Salomon Rondon who has 3 goals for Venezuela is sitting out. Leading scorer Del Valle (4) is in.

For Spain they are going with a 4-4-2 instead of 3-4-3 which they have been using the first 2 games. Fran Merida (3 goals) and Aaron Niguez (2 goals) are out.

Basically Venezuela is sitting down 1 of their 2 forwards and Spain is sitting out 2 of 3, although Spain has more depth.

Yes, there's a lot of action on Spain like there was on Brazil yesterday. All the changes to the line-ups suggest both teams are only trying to AVOID a loss. And I think both teams will achieve exactly that.

Pregame lineups were wrong! What a joke. Not sure if there were late changes (didn't check) or ESPN posted wrong lineups. This match was a route from the start.

These guys keep dribbling us. It's ok. These weren't meant to be serious plays anyways. I'm glad we'll soon cash Red Bull Salzburg +220 within minutes.
