    Default Chelsea a lock tomorrow?

Well the God's of gambling have granted me with a very small (and almost useless unless I win like 8 all-in bets in a row) BetPhoenix account from Monday Night's football game. I'm liking Chelsea with the juice tomorrow to go all-in on. I'm thinking that they will win this one easily because Apoel has not impressed me, and they just lost a Premiership match to a very easily beatable squad (meaning they have to have been looking ahead to this game).

Safe to say that Chelsea cashes my ticket tomorrow?

No lock! I have to say Chelsea has a way of playing down to the level of competition. The problem with the group stages is that no game is a must-win at this point. Winning your home games and getting one or two points on the road gets you to the next stage. Inter, for instance, are ok with the point they got today so long as they can win the rest of their home games.

I may be wrong, but the closest thing to a lock on Wednesday is:

    Brazil U-20 (-205) to beat Czech U-20.

Chelsea should win, but Liverpool looked great today to bet. I too would be weary of Chelsea's intentions, as they have a huge weekend matchup against Liverpool. That should be a hell of a game.

Hey, any excuse for me to not bet on Chelsea is a good one, so maybe I'll check out that Brazilian game. I think that Madrid may have some trouble tomorrow, so I'm not going to bet on them, which leaves AC Milan and Bordeaux as the other two big favorites on the board tomorrow. Bordeaux might be a nice game to throw this accounts balance at, wouldn't you think?

So when did the "L-word" get to this part of the forum?

If Chelsea wins will be small win. Leaning towards the under with Chelsea missing Drogba.

With a "very small (and almost useless unless I win like 8 all-in bets in a row)" sum you should not go for high juice "locks" but play a dog with +400 and more. The straightforward thing is to make 90+% of the money with a corresponding lay bet.
Of course, if you want to max your expected value, you can as well let your dog bet ride - either you end up with some serious money or you don't have to worry about it.
So only APOEL ML (not AH) makes sense for this scenario.

Since it was in the form of a question it doesn't count!

Now now, this ugly L-word does have its uses.
Whenever you even consider a tipster, you can make a quick L-search - and if it shows up, you don't have to care about anything else.
Of course it's even faster - and good service - if the LOCK is announced in the topic.

chelsea struggle din the first game wout Drogba. Apoel is a tough squad they will play tight. I wouldnt touch this game.

I actually think I'm going to lay the money on BetPhoenix's Great Vineyard bet, over 22.5 for the goals for the day at -119. There aren't a lot of unders on the board today I think, and this bet should hit pretty easily. What do you all think?

I don't know too much about Nicosia team and Chelsea is missing some players so I won't touch this match for stupid 1.30 offer

I was in the stands when APOEL beat FC Kobehavn last month. They have an excellent goalie and the midfield is pretty good. For this game they are missing a couple forwards and two defenders but they are replacable. APOEL coach will play with two defensive zones one in defense with 4 players and one with 5 in midfield and one single forward. They pressure for 90 minutes. I can see three possible outcomes using this strategy 0-0, 0-1, 0-2.

I will bet the under 2.5 for +100.

We're in trouble. I couldn't imagine Brazil U-20 not scoring a single goal in all of 90 minutes.

Czech pretty much did the "wall" but Brazil didnt use the field that much, to much plays in the centre of the field..
