Lakers english and french league picks thread
I will use this thread to track my picks for the english and french league picks and later will add spanish league and italian into it.
I will have plays on at least 2 games for tomorrow. Guys cause i play with a local i dont get lines from books early so i will just post my picks based on win lose or draw.
BAck later with picks but leaning on Blackburn win or draw and Lyon draw back later.

Good start so far my local wouldn't give me a line for the stoke draw so I took a minor risk on them. Big win by sunderland though. Hopefully toulouse can pull it out .

tomorrow my boys go to old trafford to see what they are made of. Of course i wont be touching that game but i do see a draw possibility there. the one game i truly like is the blackburn game against west ham. with all of the nonsense that went on at uptonpark during the game against millwall i feel allardyce will have the rovers ready. i also like wolves to do the job at home against hull who are really struggling this season and should of went down last year but escaped when the season ran out. in france i like marseille to beat bordeaux in a big match on sunday.

what a shitty weekend- all 3 of my games end up in draws. now my record is 4-6 and im only up .27 units. this weekend i will get it back
Hang in there LB. Damn, I bet those draws paid nicely too. I don't see too many people picking Draws, they're hard to call but a lot of games end in a tie.

alright i have decided to lay some good money down on some of tomorrows big world cup qfy matches
being in dire straits and needing nothing but a win portugal head to denmark. in the first encounter denmark stole the game with late goals in portugal. this time around the favor will be returned.

the romanians head to france with their whole birth on the line. expect them to play a cagey game . the first game was a 2-2 draw in romania. this time around things will be a lot tighter. both teams will be cautious.

the swiss and greece meet up in switzerland for a huge match. both teams are tied for first place. last time in greece the swiss produced a 2-1 victory. this time around i expect there to be 1 less goal.

poland and northern ireland meet in poland. these teams like to play offensive. the poles need this game badly as they trail nireland by 3 points. i still like the chances of goals in this one. the first time around the irish took them out 3-2. i like the over here alot

the argentina /brazil game is huge for me because i am a big fan of argentina. brazil is coming into argentina at the right time. but lets not forget there is a lot of politics behind this intensely intriguing matchup. some factors are playing in rosario/ colombian referree/weak argentine defence due to injuries and of course all the verbal nonsense. i watched the first encounter in brazil and i believe that argentina missed a glorious chance to take points there as it ended up 0-0. this will be a very physical game.

I don't want to rain on your parade here, i would be careful about putting so many units on the Poland/Northern Ireland game, i am a Northern Ireland fan who goes to all the games home and away (i would have been in Poland if i hadn't took sick earlier this week). Our away record is terrible and we don't usually create many chances away from home, our three away games in this group have been a 1-0 defeat, a 2-1 defeat and a 3-0 win over San Marino. According to our manager we will be playing a 4-4-2 tomorrow but i see one of those forwards dropping back into midfield alot, Poland need the win, our players and manager keep talking about going for a win, but then say a draw would be enough. The last time we played Poland away it was a 1-0 win to Poland and that goal came in the last few minutes.
Thats my thoughts anyway, i don't want to put you off, i just want to add a little info about the game.
Best of luck, i'll take a 2-1 Northern Ireland win and then we'll both be happy.

I like the Arsenal pick, Man City haven't faced any strong teams yet this season, i haven't been that impressed with what i have seen of them so far, as for Arsenal, they have had a superb start to the season and were robbed at Old Trafford after playing United of the park.
