    MLS Experts Thread?

Anyone want to have a dedicated MLS thread for plays of the week?

This week I'm on Los Angeles Galaxy in a mismatch on ESPN Primetime. Red Bulls missing Henry is a huge dagger.

Odds were -105 this morning, but have gone all the way to -150 now.

Loving Sporting Kansas City -1/ -1.25 as well.

    MLS Betting, anyone, anyone?

I remember there was a thread when the season started. guess it died out.

Good luck with LA. Montreal should lose having played 2 games this week already, but might be pumped for the arrival of Marco Di Vaio. Might play small on your KC bet. I have .5u on Seattle Sounders v Phili

    EDIT: 1-0 WIN

Ouch Montreal gets 2-0 on the 65th min. Penalty not deserved. Tough luck.

General rule. Pick against TFC and you should make money.

I should have made easy money last night taking KC over Impact but I got a boot up the arse. But go figure, best team in the league, perfect at home, seven wins and one loss, one goal conceded in four home matches, playing an expansion club (albeit a good one) etc etc etc . . . we saw what happened. Must have been "Lose one for Davey" night or something (it was Arnaud's first time back in KC after all his years there; he came on as a late sub to give the fans a treat).

Anyway I'll be a hell of a lot more careful next time I bet against the Impact, they're getting better by the week.

Alright camelbreath that's two stinkers in two consecutive posts. One more and I'm sorry but you'll have to brush your teeth

Not much you can do about some bad games like that though man. If you can come up with reasons why both weren't excellent plays I would be amazed, I sure can't.. oh well. I took it hard on those 2 games though... oooph.

You need to pick your spots in MLS. And variance will always play a part.

Sorry, that was just my idea of a joke . . . guess it didn't come off. Yeah they were both excellent plays and I'd make them again ten times out of ten - ah well.

It's all good! Hopefully we can take some back from the books on this upcoming MLS card.

Two solid picks but MLS is very hard to cap, the parity and the constant player turnover are two big issues for me personally, everytime I watch a team it seems like they made subtractions or additions to the roster.

Maybe we can use some of the home/away records to our advantage.

    Crap on the road:
    MON 1-5-1
    NE 1-5
    COL 1-4
    DAL 0-3-1
    POR 0-3-1

    Crap at home
    Chivas USA 0-5

    Crap everywhere
    Toronto FC 0-8

Gahhhhhhhhh! I didn't post my plays from Wednesday night in this thread and killed it of course.
Had the under 2.5 in the Red Bulls game, Under 2.5 in Chicago Fire game and Seattle Sounders at +130 and went 3-0.

Let's get some plays in action on the weekend... post up your top plays Friday or Saturday before kickoffs

ahhh Camel that sucks. Keep this thread alive!
I think i like the Draw for the big MTL v LA game. (60,000+ people going to this game in Montreal, QC) Or maybe even the Over (+102)

Keep us posted with your plays Camel, nice wins!

have to start paying attention to MLS with the European leagues ending.

Dynamo -0.5 (+104) first game in new stadium
    San Jose -1 over Chivas
    KC pick over Chicago
    like over for Montreal/LA

Seattle has conceded 3 goals all season. very likely they keep a clean sheet at home.

I'll be in attendance for the Impact-Galaxy game. Going to be so crazy with over 60,000+ fans! Atmosphere is going to be insane! Leaning towards taking the over or Impact ML. I just think with this many fans in attendance, the Impact are going to try and make a statement and get the big W in front of us. Either way, expecting a great game!

My likely first play of the day will be:

TOTAL o2½-120 (DC UNITED vrs HOUSTON DYNAMO)

I would like to confirm lineups as best as possible before playing it, but we have a great in-form goal-scoring team in United with 12 goals in the last 4 games, and a Houston Dynamo team excited to open a new Stadium... Goals anyone?

  19. #19

nahhhh MTL v LA ended as DRAW. didnt have any money on this week's fixture. on to the next one.

Of course we're rolling with Seattle Sounders -198 tonight.

This thread is officially a curse.
