    Thanks BlueDragon,

    Arsenal v Tottenham
    Under 2.5 goals - 2.15 (1u)

  4. #4

I dont think Ive ever lost a bet quite so emphatically. At least it was quick, painless and entertaining.

    Stoke City v Swansea City
    Over 2.5 goals - 2.1 (1u)

Slow start last week. Couple of small plays on the Championship game on Friday night.

    Blackpool vs Hull
    Hull: 0.0, -0.5 @ 1.95 (1u)
    Correct Score 0-0 @10.0 (0.5u)
    Correct Score 0-1 @10.0 (0.5u)

Cant see this being a high-scoring affair. Blackpool have been scoring fairly readily but against struggling sides (Bristol C, Doncaster, Coventry and a less-than-solid-at-the-back Cardiff).

Hull have gone 6 championship games without conceding, including against in-form sides Birmingham and Brighton most recently, whilst creating plenty of their own chances without scoring. No reason why they should take something from this game.

With 4 of their last 5 ending 0-0 or 1-0 to Hull, a couple of cheeky correct score bets at decent prices cant hurt...

Another small loss tonight due to my correct score bets, cancelling out the Hull 0.5, but it took an excellent goal to beat the Hull defence.

    2 so far for tomorrow:
    Barnsley vs Nottm Forest
    Over 2.5 goals @ 2.0 (1u)

    Millwall vs Reading
    Reading to win @ 2.4 (1U)

  7. #7

    Couple more for today:

    Doncaster vs Brighton
    Over 2.5 goals @ 2.2 (1u)
    Millwall vs Reading
    Over 2.5 goals @ 2.25 (1u)

Also going for Arsenal to win - draw no bet @2.62 (1u) in the early game against Lpool, just to make the watching more interesting. Both teams have had kinda crazy build ups with big wins followed by international injuries. Too hard to call. Id stay clear if it werent on tv... Im just bored.

You're welcome. They're not so much 'tips' and Im just using this to track my bets, so tail me at your own risk.

    Decent day today though...

  14. #14

    Southend vs Crawley Town
    Southend @ 2.75 (1u)
    Levante vs Real Betis
    Betis @ 2.9 (1u)

  15. #15

    Arsenal v Milan
    Milan to Win @ 3.75 (2.5u)

I have a free bet with Betfair to use, so sticking it on this. Everybody and their dog seems to be on Arsenal and the over, I just cant believe that Milan will roll over as easily as people are portraying. Id usually avoid this if it werent a free bet.

    Also on Bristol C v Leicester - Leicester to win @ 1.95 (1u)

  16. #16

    Hull vs Ipswich Under 2.5 goals @1.8 (2u) Coventry vs Birmingham Over 2.5 goals @ 2.24 (1u) Coventry to win @ 4.2 (1u)

  17. #17

    Bristol C v Cardiff
    o2.5 goals @1.95 (1u)
    Bristol C Draw No bet @2.2 (1u)

Another horrible day so far. Fade material if anything.

Stay strong-minded, everyone goes through bad streaks.

Thanks for the kind words. One bet for the televised La Liga game tonight.

    Osasuna vs Ath Bilbao
    Over 2.5 goals @ 2.1 (1u)

  21. #21

I've bet against Arsenal at home against Tottenham and Milan, and emphatically lost both times. Newcastle are in a quiet spell; embarrassed at Fulham and Tottenham, unable to beat a Wolves side in turmoil, and only recent wins coming against off-form (in the middle of their worst run ever) Villa and Blackburn.

    Arsenal -1.5 @ 2.15 (1u)

  22. #22

Cant quite believe Arsenal didnt put away one more of those second half chances, but credit to newcastle for holding out so long.

    Derby vs Nottm Forest
    Over 2, 2.5 @ 1.975 (1u)

  23. #23

  24. #24

    Chelsea v Napoli
    Napoli-Napoli 10.0 (1u)

    Real Madrid v CSKA
    Real -2.5 @1.9 (1u)

  25. #25

    Millwall v Southampton
    Southampton -0.5 @ 2.1 (1u)

    Tottenham v Bolton
    Tottenham -1.5, 2.0 @ 2.0 (1u)

    Parlayed these as well.

Was actually thinking of going for the under in the City Chelsea game. City being solid at home, whilst Chelsea have been much more sound at the back since AVB left. But both have defensive injuries tonight, so think ill avoid it.

    Tottenham v Stoke under 2.5 @ 1.95 (1u)
I expect Stoke to go with their usual tactic of turning up to try and play out a nil-nil draw, as they so often do against big teams away (see Chelsea the other week). Not sure an out of form Tottenham will break them down.

  29. #29

    Torres to score a hat-trick @ 60 (0.1u)

  30. #30

  31. #31

    Wolfsburg v Hamburg u2.5 @ 2.25 (1u)

    Macclesfield v Barnet o2.5 @ 2.05 (1u)
    Draw @ 3.5 (0.5u)

  32. #32

The draw bet salvaged my evening for a small loss yesterday.

    Millwall v Leeds o2.5 @ 2.05
    Nottingham Forest v Brighton @ 2.1

There have been over 3 goals in the last 8 league games for Millwall who play and erratic Leeds side.

As a Forest fan, Im all too prepared for them to follow up their amazing midweek game with an anticlimatic performance at home today, but still think there should be goals, as, despite recent scoring form, they remain shaky at the back, and Brighton have only failed to score in 1 league game this calendar year, against an ever solid Hull.

  33. #33

    Ugh. Moving on...
    Stoke v Man City
    Under 2.5 goals @ 1.85 (1u)
    Stoke win @ 6.2 (0.5u)

City havent had much success away at Stoke in their most recent meetings, and theyve been wobbly away in recent games, so a little half unit on Stoke doesnt seem unreasonable.

  34. #34

    Portsmouth v Hull City
    Hull Win @2.9 (1u)

    Leicester v Nottm Forest
    Over 2.5 goals @ 1.85 (1u)
    Forest Win @ 4.8 (0.5u)
