hey sorry new to soccer betting and the euro system .. Is your pick total over 2.5?

Over 2.25 is over 2,2.5. You bet half your stake on over 2, and half your stake on over 2.5

ahh thanks ive just been doing totals and MLs.. I always wondered what it was when it was 2,2.5 i thought it was totals at the Half and then Final. So if the total is 2 you push half your stake and if its over 3 you win the bet right?

    Yep. It's called Asian Handicap.

Bookies scared me this time with their 2.4 on TO2.5. I had a chance to watch Sevilla's previous game against Villareal and the final score was supposed to be like 4-5, not 1-2. Their defense is not so great, I'm pretty sure Sociedad will score at least a goal. The only question is, how successful Sevilla will be when it'll come to turning their chances into goals. TO2.5 is a good bet too, I just couldn't press the trigger.

I also have a lean on Napoli against Chievo, not so sure though. -1 looks like a good bet, Napoli in desperate need for a win, especially now, after Udinise and Inter's losses. I'll decide when the line-ups will be announced.

'No play' for me. I can't see Napoli winning by 2 goals or more. Chievo is a solid team with a good h2h history against Napoli. And Napoli is too inconsistent. I'd rather bet on them against Chelsea @ 2.65 next week than against Chievo.

Hey there Tony, don't let the haters keep you from being the person you are and providing tips and picks. It's easy to see how consistent you've been on your A bets. Like the others have said, for every hater there are many more like me that appreciate the time and effort you put into helping us all. Like you said, the books are our true enemies, and we must all work together to steal their money! I implore you to keep up the good work and try not to let the others bring you down. It is always good to get your advice, as I believe you know more about soccer than a lot of others here.

About that Napoli game--I was thinking over 2.5. What do you think about that? I also don't feel comfortable about a side bet, but this total seems like it has a good shot of hitting, given the poor defenses of the teams of late.

Both of those teams tend to score and concede A LOT of late goals. Chievo conceded 35% of goals in the final fifteen minutes and Napoli scored 28% of their goals in the same time range. IF I'll bet something here, it will be a 'Live' bet for the second half (o1.5 @ 2.08 looks good). The reason why I don't like TO2.5 here is that Napoli is not an easy team to predict. I want to see the first half before I make my choice.

But I agree, 'over' is more likely than 'under'

napoli is definitely inconsistent but I like the over 2.5 here, not only because of napoli, but chievo can easily score 1-2 goals here. They have a very good attacking line. and we all know how good napoli is in attack, so I think over looks good here Though its more of a bet based on luck, if they want or try to score, im sure they will. If they decide to play the boring italian tactical way, then its hard to believe. Im taking the over anyways lol

That's why I don't like to bet on Serie A's 'big teams'. 2-0 at HT and still under 2.5. BS, right?

Picks for tomorrow's Europa League and Champions League games right after line-ups are announced. The first game is Rubin - Olympiakos. The game was moved because of the weather conditions and starts early (11:00GMT, 15:00MSK). It's cold as phug in Moscow these days

  14. #84

We can't say anything about Rubin at this point, and it doesn't matter how good Olympiakos is playing in Greece, because every greek team is worse than Rubin. The problem is, even in friendlies there's isn't a player in Rubin who have played for more than 60 minutes per game. Olympiakos is better physically, that's a fact. The first goal for Rubin today will be not to concede, and they are good at it. At least they should be good at it until, roughly speaking, 60th minute. That's when Olympiakos should 'turn ON' their offense.

I don't want to pick a side today, it would be blind luck if I would hit something. I don't like O/U too. I came up with a solution, but I must warn you - I didn't bet anything like this before. So the pick is:

    Rubin - Olympiakos/Half With Most Goals - 2nd Half @ 2.15/1.25U

I expect it to be 0-0 at HT.

Thanks for the yesterday's pick. Sorry it didn't hit for you, but i layed @ Betfair the U1.5 and it hit, although i had to sweat it a little. Skiped Rubin's game, didn't like it at all. Will probably lay the draw in Braga-Besiktas @3.9. Best of luck

I can't be right all the time. The odds were good, I took a risk. It's part of the process, nothing to be sorry for. When I was watching the superbowl, there was a special guest on NTV+Sport (russian sports network), some defensive coordinator from US, I don't remember his name. But he said this: this sport is all about streaks, you just need the winning streak to happen at the end of the season. I'd say it applies to betting too. You can't control if your bet is a winner or a loser, it just happens. What you need is manage your money according to the odds. That's how I roll.

    Good luck to you too.

    Braga...

That's why I don't like to bet using team stats as the only source. There's not enough information in numbers. You need to feel the game. Braga didn't even want to score until Besiktas scored a goal. If you have 0-0 in your mind before the game, you will lose. And tonight's game is another example of it.

    #4/Lyon - APOEL/TO2.25 @ 1.84/1.5U

Bayer will play 6 defenders, that's what Barca likes the most. Iniesta, Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez are playing tonight.
Lyon can cover without APOEL's help, APOEL can score one of their famous counter attacks. Shouldn't be a problem.

    #1/Milan - Arsenal/Arsenal +0.5 @ 1.80/1.5U
There's a lot of injuries for Milan, they have problems in every line. And even with Robinho and Ibrahimovich as forwards I can't see Milan scoring more than one goal. TU2.5 also very likely. As we can see, every home team's first goal is not to concede, and Milan don't have enough strength these days to play otherwise.

    #2/Zenit - Benfica/TO2.5 @ 2.48/1.25U
Zenit never was a defensive team. They will try to win today. It will be difficult without Danny, Criscito and Lazovich, but they have enough players to cover their bases. And of course Benfica need at least a goal on the road. I remember them as offensive team, I hope they haven't changed in the last three months. I'm concerned about pitch quality but @ 2.48 I'm willing to give it a go. Such a great value.

    #3/Parma - Juventus/Juve -0.5 @ 1.8/1.5U
Juve is a better team. Simone Pepe is back. Parma is too unstable this season. Should be easy (but it never is ).

I would absolutely agree if it wasn't for Milan's great come back at Saturday's match against Udinese. I'm also a little bit concerned of Arsenal's not so great performance in away matches in Ch.L. But I feel Arsenal will play tonight to keep the 0-0

Nah, there was nothing great about it. I watched this game, Milan couldn't do anything but somehow managed to score two late goals out of nowhere. It happens.
I'm also a little bit concerned of Arsenal's not so great performance in away matches in Ch.L.
Arsenal played like crap in EPL too back than. They are a better team now. At least I hope so. I agree about '0-0', I think both teams would be happy with it.

Yeah, it's my 'whim' too. But this is the best I could think of. I'm better when there's more games to choose from.
