I've gone for it. I really think Napoli are in strong position and Puda's little nudge has sent me in the direction more so. At worst, I see Napoli coming away with a draw against Chelsea FC and have taken Napoli PK - risking 3 units. See above...

    GL everyone!

Im a chelsea supporter so i might be a bit bias but i really believe we can get something in italy a 1-0 or 2-1 loss is not the end of the world. Pretty sure drogba is back from africa so hopefully he can lift this chelsea side out of its slump in your case mat1 you hope he does it next week.

Anyway good luck with your plays

    Your viewpoint doesnt count then!!

    Jokes!

I think Chelsea will perform better than they have, Drogba will definately help. I do think they can get on the board here, but I don't think it will be enough on the road. Too much going against them.

Yeah. I was just reading you comment on, that you think then can get on the board and I agree and when you consider the offensive power of Napoli compared to Chelseas defensive problems, then this would be a good pick

I do think they can get one in the net, but I'd rather check who they have up front. But my initial hunch is they will get one on the board in this game. but it won't be enough to see them through. 2-1. 3-1 at best.

I am bloody determined to get something out of this A-league game tonight. Must keep fading Gold Coast! So after two failed attempts to include it in a parlay, i am taking CCM ML straight up.

A-League, Gold Coast United vs Central Coast Mariners
Central Coast Mariners to WIN @ 1.617 risking 2 units

One step fwd, two steps back at the moment.

Europa League, Man City v FC Porto
    Man City to WIN @ 1.62 - 1 unit

Taking Man City. Another popular play, im sure, but I feel they should get up in this game. Healthy squad for Man City and couple of changes for Porto with Pereira out on suspension. Danilo and Mangala are also injured. Mancini - “..I think it’s important to think that it is 0-0 start. For us, every game is serious and we want to win every match." My biggest concern is that City can afford a draw here if they keep it to 1-1 or 0-0, but they seem intent on going for the win to seal their own fate. I've been waiting on this game for awhile, hopefully they do not disappoint. Man City to win.

Ugh. i am up early for work. Tailed on man city - my concern was also city maybe comfortable with a draw but they are up 1-0 early

Mati, any early thoughts on tomorrows night? I am leaning O2.5. Important game for both teams, Adelaide were a bit unlucky last week i felt & Newcastle should bounce back after last weeks poor showing.

    Hey Sol,

Hard one to pick I reckon, both sides are in similar form, and both have some slight injury concerns. Jets biggest problem is Jobe Wheelhouse will be out with a groin injury, he has been pretty good for the Jets and I think will be missed. I think Adelaide's biggest problem is they are coming off playing 3 important games in 8 days. They will now play their 4th in 13 days. Atleast this time they will have 4 days rest and time to regroup, but still, that's a pretty heavy schedule and they will be on the road again.

I am leaning towards Newcastle for the win, or safe bet for me would be to take both teams to score which I think is a very good chance to hit. And yep, over would be more than likely as well.

Lots of Europa League games today! Only one pick for me though.

Europa League, Atheltic Bilbao vs Lokomotiv Moscow - Over 2.5 @ 1.741 - 1 unit

Athletic Bilbao welcome Lokomotiv Moscow needing to overturn a 2-1 first leg deficit to progress in Europa League. No team’s games featured more goals in the Europa League group stages than Lokomotiv, and Bilbao have been in similar form, with a minimum of 3 goals scored in their last 3 Europa games this year.

Lokomotiv are a team that can score away from home, while being susceptible defensively. Bilbao is a similar story, having failed to score in La Liga at home just once in the league this season. They have also kept just four clean sheets anywhere in La Liga. Both teams can be expected to score in this one and with the goal deficit from the first leg it should be a high-scoring affair.

I will most likely have a play on one of the later games, but if I do, it will be closer to kick off. GL!

I think Sporting-Legie Warshaw - 1@1.50 is a pretty secure bet too for today

Europa League, Sporting Lisbon vs Warsaw - Sporting Lisbon -1 @ 1.95 - 1 unit

Sorry, hard to give a proper write up only 10 mins before kick off but Warsaw are struggling with several injuries at the moment. Sp Lisbon won comfortable on the first leg away and should do the same at home, to give their fans something to celebrate.

A-League, NEWCASTLE JETS vs ADELAIDE UTD, Both Teams to Score - YES @ 1.68 - 1 unit

To add the above, I am worried about Wheelhouse not being in the middle for the Jets, and im not sure how it will influence them tonight. Also defender Kantarovski was tipped to be back in the side after Olyroos finished this week, but I was reading earlier that he is only landing from UAE this morning and I do not see how he will be fully recovered enough to play even if they do select him to start. If he doesn't start Van Egmond was running Taylor Regan and 17-year-old Connor Chapman in the defensive midfielder role at training on Thursday and said they would be the back-ups if Kantarovski was unable to take the field. I think either of these 3 in the defensive line will leave Jets slightly exposed.

Newcastle Jets have scored in 4 out of their last 6 games. They didn't score in their last game, but that was a rare off day for them on the road all the way across the other side of the country in Perth. Jets have managed just one clean sheet in their last 10 matches.

Adelaide have been the same. Conceding a goal in 9 out of their last 10 A-league games. Adelaide have also managed to penetrate the opposition net on a very consistent basis, including 9 out of their last 10 once more.

This just seems a good spot to take the both teams to score prop. The head to head match-up for these two has been close and this could go any number of ways IMO. I do think the Jets will come out on top, but with some changes in the squad, im not quite sure what to expect from their defence especially.

Losing my profits lately on some pretty shitty plays, but its time to turn it around.... I hope!

German Bundesliga, Borussia M'gladbach v Hamburg
    Borussia M'gladbach to WIN @ 1.72 - 1 unit

Gladbach are 2nd on the table and a win today will put them equal top of the table, atleast for one day anyway! They will be keen on the win as they still believe they can finish top of the table and allowing Dortmund to get 6 points clear will not be part of that plan.

All the talk is about Herrmann being out of the squad after breaking his colar bone on the weekend, but one player does not make a squad, especially of the talent of Gladbach. Apart from Herrmann's absence, Gladbach will be playing with a full-strength squad. Gladbach have not lost a game at home all season so far, and out of 11 games at home, have only drawn 3.

They are up against Hamburger who are a bit of an anamoly this year, having been more successful away away than at home. They have only lost 3 games away from home, out of 10, but this is not an ideal spot for them. Their success away from home has come against lower table teams and this will be a little bit of a reality check for them. Gladbach to win.
