My play of the week: Man City

City at 1.85ish away against Everton.... will definitely have some of that, Mr bookie!

remember last year Everton won at City 2-1 and then at home 2-1 this year they're better but still missing some players maybe its a good play but not the play of the week
i think Chelsea will win at Swansea but the odds a little lower

I think the only secure bet of the english premier league is manchester united at home despite the awful odds.

I think under 2.5 on both of the above would be sensible if you can get 1.70 or above

Ya, I have never taken the historical meetings between the two teams in mind when i took this bet. One is that Man City is in transition and remember last season there wasn't a stable coach. This year the team look more stable. I just think that with Kompany coming back and City drawing at pool, there will be an extra motivation t come back to winning ways. Goodison park is never an easy trip, but when City plays, I don't think Everton defense is able to cope with both Jag and Distin out. If City can hit two goals, then I think they have a very very good chance of winning here. I just don't see the old Everton is this side right now.

Well, I am relatively big on this game, but we will see. Also consider placing more units on this, but now it seems the feedback has not been so positive, but anyway. Good luck to City!

Everton tends to wake up half way through the season and they are pretty due these days. Their play have improved, but still lack the edge in front of goal. Wouldn't it be typical them waking up entirely when hosting number 1 in the league? Definitely not POW material I think, but I'm pretty cold these days.

I am not so sure Man City would beat Everton at home.

I wil tel you that mancity winning is more surer than manutd and chelsea winning. Common manutd are without nani, rooney, jones wit ferdinand not fully fit, playing stokes with their aerial threat and we all knw degea cant handle that. And swansea will definitely play their posesion game and expect dyer & sinclair to have a good game. Chelsea's midfield can't stop this guys frm playin wit mata who doesn't tack, meireless, lampard, romeu. Ramires is out leavin them wit sturridge&mata the only threat goin forward.

It was last year !!! since than many things changed ...Everton just don't look a team that can stop the Citizens.
Everton are yet to win a single game this season against a team positioned in the top half or the league. Everton are in 14th position for one reason only… They have been clinically efficient against lower half teams.
Everton have gained a reputation under David Moyes for putting one over on the big boys, but they no longer appear equipped to deliver on that front as the Scot's squad continues to be decimated by the sale of key players. Left-back Leighton Baines, perennial substitute Apostolos Velios and injured midfielder Leon Osman are tied on three goals as Everton's joint top league scorer and that tells its own story.
Consider as well that imperious captain Vincent Kompany will be back at the heart of their defence after a four-game ban – which in turn means poor old Stefan Savic will be nowhere to be seen – and it's really not too hard to imagine City getting a clean sheet.

    AWAY WIN !

Both centre backs (Jagielka + Distin) as well as Rodwell + Osman are missing and they've just lost Saha today.

    Manchester City win

Best of luck to all of those who took City, sorry i signed up too late to discuss this earlier but City has a piss poor record at Everton in the league.

    2009/10: Everton 2 Manchester City 0

    2008/09: Everton 1 Manchester City 2
    2007/08: Everton 1 Manchester City 0
    2006/07: Everton 1 Manchester City 1
    2005/06: Everton 1 Manchester City 0

thats what the commentators are guessing but nothing on his shirt or cap, they turned the cam away and after 5-6 mins he disappeared, police probably cut it with a bolt cutter now another pair of cuffs goes back on?
