    Hi all,

    Hope you can help me.

i want to convert 12X prices into Asian Handicap prices, but i dont know the formula... Did somebody can help me ?
    especially for those one:

    AH-0.5-1
    AH-1
    AH-1-1.5
    AH-1.5

And i try to do the same for the under/over Asian Handicap
To convert the U/O 2.5 in:

    U/O 2
    U/O 2-2.5
    U/O 2.5-3
    U/O 3

    Thanks for any help

    Asian Handicap involves two wagers.

    AH -0.5 -1, 1st wager -0.5 goal, 2nd wager -1 goal
AH -1, both wagers -1 goal
    AH -1 -1.5, 1st wager -1 goal, 2nd wager -1.5 goals
AH -1.5, both wagers -1.5 goals

    U/O 2, both wagers U/O 2 goals
    U/O 2-2.5, 1st wager O/U 2 goals, 2nd wager O/U 2.5 goals

-0.25 goals is the same as pk and -0.5 goals
-0.75 goals is the same as -0.5 and -1 goals

    Hi, thanks to answer...

But, i'm sorry i'm french and i dont speak (and understand) well english.

My question was the calculation. How did the bookmakers for to calculate the 1X2 odds in AH odds.

    Exemple:

    If the 1X2 odds are "1.38" - "5.2" - "9.8"
what will be the odds for the AH shown higher

    thanks

    1X2 odds are 3 ways.
    AH odds are 2 ways.

Asian Handicap advantage compared to fixed odds:

You eliminate the possibility of a draw result, increasing your main winning chance from 33.3 percent to 50 percent in a single game.
If a quarter handicap game ends with a tie result, and you fail to win your bet, you only lose 50 % of your stake.

Depending on the handicap you can win your bet even if the team you bet on don't win the game.
You can bet on a team you believe will lose the game, but because of a big handicap you can still win the bet. Typical here is when the favorite team win the game with only one goal.

When following the match 'live', tension is high since a single goal can take you from losing to winning (or the other way around).

If somebody have it, thanks to reply.

    Regards

You can convert 3-way lines to some handicaps like level ball (0), -0.5, +0.5 etc, but not all kinds of handicaps. wouldn't it be better to open an account at a book where you can bet straight asians? Better odds that way also.

There is no way to convert a 3-way 1X2 odds to 2 ways AH odds. They are two different concepts.

If you take the home side, it is the same as home -0.5 goals.
If you take the away side, it is the same as away -0.5 goals.
There is no way to convert the DRAW to Asian Handicap odds.

Poisson distribution is what you can use to scale the totals to different goal numbers.

Do a google on poisson distribution and it's various uses in betting.

    Not true.
You can easily convert 1x2 to AH odds using the bookie's implicit probabilities - and therefore calculate their relative value.

I'm looking to talk with someone that knows soccer betting, specifically Asian Handicap and 3Way Handicap. I'm in the process of creating a soccer odds comparison product, I'd like to get an idea how punters want AHC and 3Way Handicap presented in an comparison odds format. Thanks, Dan
