Maaan how is this happening with defensive abcenses in the Man City squad, Richards, Zaballeta and Pandev missing, City will try and attack and attack only. I see an early goal from Chelsea here and City trying to catch up, then god knows what happens, but with all the attacking power both teams have and mediocre deffenses .... I dont see them not scoring goals, only 1-1 looks real, but Chelsea will want to win this.

I know it is like that and you are right I would have never taken it if it wasnt a high profile game, what you say happens very very often, but never in high profile games ... see what happend in Real-Barca and all the rest of the high profile games this year, these players esepcially the attcking ones cost zillions and they know their job

Nah, I wasn't referring to the fixing (although it's NEVER ruled out).

Both Mancini and AVB understand this very well and might make some changes. SO OFTEN these perfectly scripted OVER's **** up and to me this looks like one of them. Then again, football is football and goals can come on any given situation and yes, that's why the Over is more favored but it's a good shot nevertheless.
In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if it ended 0-0

Of those defenders you've mentioned, only Richards is on the first team with Kompany, Lescott and Clichy. Zabaleta will probably slot in for Richards tonight.Zabaleta might be the better defensive player, but they lose the forward mobility of Richards which helps open up spaces for City's attacking players) . Kind of leaning to Chelsea tonight (or at least a draw)...they've seemed to get back on track in their last couple of matches (ie. against Newcastle and Valencia) and they'll be the desperate club here. If they lose this, they'll be 13pts off of City and pretty much take them out of the title race. City hasn't fared well at the Bridge as well (only winning twice their since the Premiership era and I believe they've failed to score there in 8 of their last 9) and they're due for a loss.

I feel you and you're probably both right
But let's just wait and watch...

The only way I see it going over is if it's a 3-0 or 4-0
One of them is keeping the sheet clean tonight.

i really think man city is gonna win guys, it might become a total shootout, but man city has a winner's mentality and i'm not sure if chelsea can even regroup under their coach - it's usually during this time of the season where teams that can't contend start to slide, i know the injuries will affect city, but they're not significantly downgrading at all, 2-1 city is my prediction

    The over/under stinks here... really over 2.5 @ -125 or over 3 @ +136

Mancity has been repeatedly exposed on the flanks on defense and Chlesea main defensoive tactic seems to be standing around with thier arms in the air looking for an offside call.

Chelsea hasnt played a game under 3 at home all year, Macity has scored at least two goals in all but one game the entire year.

It just reeks of a game of missed chances and half a dozen balls into the woodwork.

I have man city at a pick and the over 2.5. I think man city scores so if they lose the over comes in and if they score 2 I hope to get a win or at least a push.

    Hi OGUCCI-SBR!

I am also going with the under 2,5 goals on chelsea-manchester c. See value in that bet. But 88% of the public is on the over 2,5 goals.

EaglesPhan36 is also on over 2,5 goals. Going to be an interesting game.

    Good luck!

You do NOT belong betting soccer -- nobody in the league scores more than MANC, and Chelsea's been known to knock a couple in in their day as well...

I just turned the game didn't even no it was going on watched a good portion of it. Seems to be that Manchester City didn't no how to score in the 2nd half were pretty content with passing the ball around. While Chelsea was trying to act somewhat. Lampard gets subbed in and gets a PK in the 81st minute. Not sure if it was lucky handball or not . I had figured the game was going to be a 1-1 draw

Man City got a player sent off early in the 2nd half so they couldn't really do much after that. and i don't know if you could call that handball lucky. basically sturridge was shooting and it hit lescott's arm. but it wouldn't have hit if the latter didn't try to 'make himself big' and try to block the shot though so I think the penalty was pretty fair.

Yeah shut up whiner, you know nothing about soccer .....

Maaaan that was so close as soon as they had the red card city I just though it was going under, really lucky with that penalty, and congratz on the Chelsea win, was thinking of backing them live after the red card, but couldnt find the courage to do it, although I've seen them win games in the last minutes before. Anyways only a red card could've made the game go stay under and infact if it came earlier while it was 0-1 or 0-0 then that game was gonna stay under I bet my life on it
