A-League Handicapping 2011/12
I've had a couple of good seasons in the past in the ALeague(mostly on over/unders) so I'm going to post my plays in this thread. There won't be an overload of plays or outrageous units thrown around but when I do play them I believe they should be valuable

I think the reds will be quality this year...just how the lose of marco floris will effect them.
They will miss him big I reckon, I do beleive they'll be strong but the glory usually start the season well and their new signings are linking up well

Like the over also in the melb v adelaide game i think the victory will struggle a bit in defence this season which will results in a few goals.Against syd 1st half their should of been a few goals scoring if it wasnt for both keepers pulling off great saves and some poor finishing
Yeah for sure, and if Adelaide find the net early then it's total game on, only thing I'm worried about is melb victory being one of those "show pony" clubs that get alot of " oooh ahhhhs" cos their build up is good but can't finish.. (kind of like Liverpool or athletico Madrid off the top of my head). But for now I stand confident that thompson, allsop kewell etc should be able to find the net a few times and hopefully we can take advantage of this 2.5 value. ( I think it should really be over 2.5 and 3)

I need adelaide to suprise themselves on Friday and score early, then turn the game into a shootout.. Confident thats how it will pan out neither team is notoriously known as being slow offense or heavy defensive teams

WELLINGTON PHOENIX PK AND -0.5 -126 ( 1.5 UNITS ) pinnacle (bought it down)
PERTH GLORY +0.5 OR AKA DOUBLE CHANCE -127 ( 2 UNITS ) pinnacle (also bought down) ~ I'm sticking to my guns that Perth glory start seasons well and are actually able to score goals but I do know there is a lot of value in fading them throughout the second half of the season when they find that usual scoring slump. But right now Melbourne heart dont scare me and the glory goalkeeper is standing very solid
Ok so I've paid a bit of juice on all of these added plays but my updated power rankings are giving me a big edge in all of these games so as its the A-league I have covered a few draws just for value as I should at least go 2-1 IMO
