    Default Why would someone....

Pay for picks? If you are new at gambling then maybe what you need is to start learning how to handicap.

I do not understand why anyone would pay someone for there guess at any game at any time. I have been gambling for more years then the age of some of the posters on here and I NEVER have paid a red cent for someones picks.

With that said, how many times have you heard of a CAPPER giving both plays out on the same game? Too many times to count in all my years of gambling this has happened. So that means 50% win, and love the service and 50% lose and are not charged.

Bottom line in my opinon is paying for a pick is nothing more then a SCAM.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK ON YOUR WAGERS!!!

Some people just can't handicap, some looking for the quick buck. Either way there will always be a market for the touts.

If people didn't pay for picks these forums wouldn't exist. And you guys would be lost. The only reason you're in this forum is to look at the picks and don't tell me you're looking for fade materiel - that would be BS.

Stay out of this forum, please. You guys are toxic.

Someone has to buy them... Luckily those who do are kind enought to share. That's kinda the idea here!

By you saying this, you're prolly calling out 75% of the people in this forum. And the one guy said it right, everyone is in here to look at the picks and make their own decision (based on the picks). Don't lie to yourself and say you haven't done it, and yeah this forum would not be if it wasn't for kind people sharing their picks. If you're gonna have an opinion about buying picks and im talking about all who agree with this, you should prolly have documented all your picks and lets compare.

It is funny that people who so boisterously say that they wouldn't pay for a pick or that all these guys are scumbags, always do so on the service play section, a place where people go just to see what paid cappers have for their plays.

Sports gambling is a 60 billion dollar business worldwide. As long as people long for the "action" there will be people who pay for picks. Why would someone pay for plays? Some people just don't have the time to put into capping games correctly. Others just don't understand the situations that make for winning plays.

Now there are hundreds of cappers out there who aren't worth the money, we all know who they are. They are promoting themselves at every turn. They will scream out their "play of the whatever" to anyone who will listen. Having said that there are quite a few "ADVISORS"...read not TOUTS, who make money for their clients long term. Most people just don't know about them b/c they spend more time on capping and less time on Touting themselves. Also those people make sure that their plays aren't posted everywhere for all to see. After all If I paid anywhere from 1k- 3k for a year of plays why would I give it to boards like this for free?

If you want to find the cappers who make money then find the advisors not the touts!! Advisors are like a good stockbroker not flashy just good.

Of course most of you will say this post is just BS but then again everyone has their opinions.

PSSSST paying for picks has nothing to do with this forum. This forum is ran by our friends at SBR, not the crooks who charge for picks.

Paying for picks is just stupid. The whole concept is about making $$ and by paying somebody off you are losing profit and the handicappers selections they give you are far from a guarantee

Very true!! For those who care about %, you need to win 51% of your wagers to show a small profit. If you pay someone for the picks that increases the % on what you need to be ahead.

I paid for a football service this past year and he went 90-48. No problem there winning over 52.4%(not 51%, big difference) of my wagers. Only cost me $200. It happens but you got to do your homework and make sure it's worth it.

Thank you for the correction, I am playing poker online in between posts. Your are correct at 52ish %. I guess I should pay better attenion to what I write.

I am glad you had a good season, it dose happen. Even Joe Blow who has no idea what he is doing can win a high percentage at times. My point is the long term. Everyone goses through the "Hot" streak.

Thanks again and Good luck in your wagers.

i coudlnt agree with you more, after gambling for a few years now, i have always been interested in buying picks just to see how good the "professional" handicappers are. i just recently purchased them so i can track them and see how they do. and so far after 3 days they are 10-15!! i have done much better than that over the last 3 days and i seemed to have pissed away my money! i will never buy picks again it makes absolutely no sense, pick the games YOU like not what sum1 else likes

Seems ironic you started this thread in the Service Plays section of the forum.

Post plays, discuss plays. Really pretty simple if you stop to think about it.
