I took a little closer look at RAS January totals from his site and this might help some with comments about getting the plays after they've moved already.

After 74 total plays in January, RAS is 46-28 and a whopping THREE of those games were winners for RAS but losers for the latecomers (one of which was an OT game). In other words if you get on RAS plays just before tip off then you're still 43-31 on the month. Pretty darn good. There could be one or two more games that might have been close depending on your book but still generally a good proposition overall.

Also I looked at overs vs. unders and his overs in January are 18-14 while unders are 28-14.

FWIW two of the three line movement affecting games were unders and one was an over.

Obviously no guarantee that these trends will continue but I find them interesting.

Sarcasm Willie? You seem to have a pretty big hard on for the guy.

Even if he is cocky or arrogant or whatever, his totals are strong. I'm no fan of his sides but if his totals are hitting then who cares? If you disagree as to whether he moves lines, again...who cares as long the plays are winning?

No disrespect intended to you or Edward. One cannot take anything away from his success with his totals.

btw - nice job on the analysis, Drink, thanks!
    (no sarcasm, again)

We have not had as many totals land near the number this season as we did last season. The totals have hit at such high rate that they have been profitable regardless of what number you get, but even given the example above you would be +6.3 units more ahead if you were able to get the release line, and that is from just a one month sample. So depending on your unit size and your ability to get the release line by subscribing you can figure out what makes sense for you.

I am a subscriber to RAS, and I can attest that playing RAS totals the past month (January) I'm up 30+ units for the month, average play 2 units. As mentioned before, I place my wager within 10 seconds of recieving the play via online book, and within 30 seconds the line will move 1.5-2 pts the other way. Like Ed says, the service isn't for everyone, you have to have the means to play ASAP & $ management. If RAS could get the Sides to click, he'd be DEADLY!
