According to the numbers i have, two plays on BB's stuff right now... there are just a TON of games tonight for all these bets to be spread around.

Villanova (Follow) 12000 bets, 60% on Vill
Providence (Fade uconn) 9500 bets, 70% on conn

Thanks for that. Shame Bill was late with his round up today, so too late to bet on those but its still good to see what happens.

He always does releases them late, probably so that someone doesn't do this to him in Vegas. Tonight he actually posted them a little earlier than normal.

Like I said, you basically need a local guy who will take action after tip for most of these to be effective.

The 17-3 record was ONLY for games where there were at least 9500 bets. Uconn and villanova were the only two that fit that criteria tonight--the big card sprayed the action all over. According to Pregame dot com those were the only two.

And (patting self on back), 2-0 tonight. I know you guys were scratching your heads but I am gonna write a post in a few minutes that will tell you how i do it quickly---in those occasions where BB tweets before tip of the early games.

Ok kids...

First take the plays bill tweets... It will look something like this: "tonight they bettin us blah blah blah"

jot those games down on a piece of paper and look at a website like sports insights or pregame.

Look at the number of bets. If the number of bets (close to game time). If that number is below 9500 bets (or not close enough to make it by tipoff), then it is not within the fade system. If it is over 9500 bets, look at the percentage of side bets. If that percentage is below 70, follow the squares and take the team bill is rootin against. If the percentage is above 70, fade away and take the team who is playing the square backed team.

I just looked over all of his "square plays" for tonight--here is what I got:

Fading the squares in NBA would have been 2-1. To me, the big number here was ok city who had 11,000 bets at both insights and pregame. The fade won despite only 53-58 of the action on ok city. The other two sides had 7400 bets each and percentages lower than my ncab filter (52 for TOR, 67 for LAC). They were 1-1. It will be interesting to see a full NBA card--like Fri or after college hoops ends. I am officially tracking NBA again.

Basically college was as has been expected--the games with action greater than 9500 bets with more than 70% on the square side (uconn) lost and the one with under 70% on the square side (Nova) won. As I said in an earlier post, I have been tracking the bets and percentages for a few years now and until bill started telling who squares were on, I was basically chasing my tail--maybe just covering juice. Thus be wary of those games bill doesn't mention and make sure there is sufficient action to warrant a play.

An interesting point -- I am of the opinion that squares never bet an under in a game. Looking at bills plays, with col st still playing, that was 3 "unders" that the "squares" were on tonight--2-0 thus far. It would not surprise me if it would be good to follow the "unders" and fade the "overs.".

Thoughts on that?

I forgot to mention st joes... According to insights and pregame, st joes had 80 of the sides at one, 73 at the other and 83% of parlays and teasers. I would think numbers this high might require action but Colorado st had near the same numbers (81, 74, 78) and covered. So I think it proves the importance of much action.

Colorado also went under--so "squares" under plays were 3-0 tonight. I just have a hard time believing squares ever bet the under--especially in a college basketball game. It makes me wonder if it's beards or a syndicate working or selling their picks.
