Won't be + Units with all of those plays. Definitely a good night to fade. Will be a great example of when a normal line play loses, the teasers are going down in flames as well.

Wow - don't check in with RF often - but a month ago he was plus like 130 units or something and was killing it and everyone would jump all over his plays - now people are fading - hilarious how fickle we all are!

Good luck to you either way.

Not really sure where the fading mindset has come from. RF has had + days in 5 of the last 7 (+11.5 units). 4 in the last 5(+7.5 units). Further I'd go with Miss. He's 2-1 GOW in 2010 up 4.5 units on those games.

Also, recently when he's been laying a ton of chalk like tonight, he puts up a winning record.

    Jan 2nd 9-8 +1, teasers 5-3 +3
    Jan 9th 11-9 -1.5
    Jan 13th 10-8 +3, teasers 2-3 -1
    Jan 16th 13-11 +2, teasers 1-2 -0.5

He's not breaking the bank, but he is on an upswing.

Personally, I'll be playing the GOW and most of the card.

    GL to all.

Picker- you're comments about considering juice are very true, however tonight I think he may have a good spot here with Ole Miss

Gotta tell you boys, it's starting to feel good again. Not doing great yet, but it's starting to feel good. (Like in baseball, when you can see a hitter starting to find his groove and when he goes up their he either gets a hit or even when he makes an out he's smoking the ball somewhere. Or like a shooter - the ball starting to feel good coming out of my hand. )

I'm not promising anything, I'm just saying.

And Picker, keeping coming in here trying to get people off me and trying to fade me. Hilarious. Don't hate me cause you ain't me, buddy! How'd that big play on South Carolina work tonight? Up plenty on the year and now the pendulum is about to swing the other way, meaning it's time to get back on the Victory Train.

Four of five W's. Nothing sexy, but grinding. And I feel like we're going to get a bounce or two our way and hang a big number up here coming pretty soon. Not trying to jinx myself. Just feeling good. Like Chris Mullin in NBA Jams. He's hit the first two shots. Just gotta get one more to all and then...........

App State was a bad pick. If you saw my writeup I basically said, "yeah, it's obvious that this is a look ahead situation and the line movement suggests a GSU stunner, but I'm taking ASU anyway. Then they are up 10 late and piss down their legs. Yikes. And that Colorado game was yet another game where everyone was content running it out (OSU up 10) and one asshole didn't get the memo and runs across the court and fouls a guy with about 15 seconds left. Just a shocking level of stupidity.

But, again, no worries. There will be losses. Working out some kinks and liking what I see. Could win tomorrow, could lose tomorrow. But I'm just saying that I'm sliding back into that groove and that I think we're set for the last two months. Just a feeling.

    It's all in the game.

haha good stuff RF.. just curious, your site said you were considering making that a 6 or 7 unit play.. what line were you hoping to get to play that much?

  26. #26

    Default

    6.0 or 6.5.

Then the original was 10.0 and I thought I was going to have to back off altogether. Then I wake up today and check the overnights and I see 8.5 and 8.0, so I kind of said, "**** it. I've talked myself out of too many good plays lately because of the number. Trust your instincts."

I really, really, really wanted to go with a Game of the Year on that Ohio State play on Saturday (over Wiscy). That's what I originally had on my site. I wanted to just go with two plays: 7-Units on Ohio State and 5 on Ole Miss (+8.5 at Tennessee). But being the dumb asshole that I am, I backed off, just went big on OSU with a GOTW, and threw in a ton of other junk that watered down our day.

(However, not sure if anyone noticed, but I think I went like 10-2 with my 0.5's that day. The difference between those at 0.5 and the 1.5's I had up that day were razor thin. Yeah, I was happy. )

Anyway, I'm getting more toward that, "**** it, I'm shooting it." stage. Not in a bad or reckless way. But just trying to get my mind and my nerves out of the way and let it flow. Can't be afraid to get embarrassed with a play now and again. It's going to happen. But I have to trust my systems, trust my teams, and have faith that things will break.

Oh, I'm still up PLENTY from fading your plays for the last month. You finally have one winning night and your young punk ass is in here whooping it up. You're still a crappy capper that DOES NOT ADD IN JUICE TO YOUR LOSSES AND POST THE CORRECT UNITS ON YOUR SITE. That being said, will continue to fade your ass HARD. Seriously, one winning night in the last month and a half and you feel the need to spout off about it? Are you new to this game? Keep sucking and laying chalk and playing your stupid teasers. I'll go ahead and keep winning.

Actually, I gave Ferringo props on finishing up the other night and gave him words of encouragement in his threads when he was clearly down. Now the clown comes back with one decent night and talks shit to me. It will backfire. I guarantee it. As far as many forums: I am on here and Covers (which is the main place I post). So what are you talking about, mvp? I use the same name for consistency.

And ferringo is coming at you???? Who started this argument today????? Nobody who follows ferringo needs nor wants your negative comments. You've faded him the last month and won, good for you. You should be thanking him for plays to fade. You're a has been tout that obviously got out of the business for a reason, or nobody wanted your picks nor advice. It just baffles me that you would take the time to come and post negative stuff on this thread. We're grown ass men, try to act like it.

So you are acting like a 'grown ass man' by calling me names? You sound like a little kid to me. And the reason I got out of the business was to go back to school to become a Physician's Assistant, genius. I've only said that about 10 times before. One other thing: When a normal lines loses, do you know how many times a teased line will lose? I can understand teasing a game here and there, but having it as a play and then throwing it in a teaser will = a double win or a double loss 80% of the time. And being that you have to hit TWO plays in a teaser, your chances get even worse to hit it if the game loses on the point spread. That was my point, and that point is absolutely true. Please go study the stats.
