3-Unit Play #701 Take Charlotte/New York UNDER 199 ½ (7:30 p.m. EST, Thursday)
We were leaning towards the under when we saw this line last night but it moved up a couple points overnight and made this a solid play in our eyes. The under is 8-1 in the last nine home games for the Knicks. These two teams played last month and there was a 66-point scoring quarter in the second and this one still didn’t get anywhere near 200 – a 60-point quarter is usually the kiss of death for under players but that just shows you how the rest of that game played out. The Knicks, surprisingly, have been playing some pretty good defense and they have allowed only one opponent out of their last 14 to reach the century mark (one OT game omitted since Atlanta didn’t reach 100 in regulation). Charlotte has been scoring a bit more in recent games but they still average less than 90 PPG on the road. They also play good defense and allow only 93 PPG on average.
doc is so money with his under totals....anyone got a record on his under plays? i mean...im not keeping track of the win/loss...but hes gotta be like 7 for his last 8...im curious about this overall record on under totals
