    Default Basketball and Baseball

With the Football season drawing to a close am now looking for a couple of reliable basketball and (later) baseball cappers/services.

Am only interested in those producing 1, 2 or max 3 quality plays a day.

    Any suggestions?

bhunter, I've been in the game for a long time and I can tell you that as far as baseball goes, it is a better idea to find a capper to fade. MLB is the hardest sport to pick for most cappers / touts and a larger % of them lose and they lose big. You will win more money that way.

On the flip side, I would check out Jason Johnson on vegasinsider.com for a pretty good baseball capper. He seems to produce winning units every season. I spent time with vegasinsider and there is Jason and maybe 1 or 2 other guys that are decent.

baseball is the easiest sport to beat. cappers lose cause they have no clients, in general, paying them for this. they more than likely throw darts and have no clue how to win.

Baseball is by far the easiest sport to profit in.

How? With your own picks, or by following a particular capper?

in general it is the most profitable (i.e. the way it is set up). amount of games, no spreads, and the underdog payoffs.

I was nothing but SOLID in Bases last few years. My only problem is that I am HOT or ICE COLD in hoops. Football I usually hit pretty good but then since I have poor money management I tend to get caught up with my BIG plays and lose. I should know myself by now and FADE my big plays and double up on my small plays . I would be LOADED.... instead of LOADED with alcohol.

hockey is right up there too but baseball has double the amount of games to grind out profits

Oh, so I see we have a bunch of professional baseball cappers on this forum. Good to know. I'll be marking you down and following your picks since baseball is so easy to beat.

base ball is the cash cow of sports. so many games, no spreads, 80% of capping comes from starting pitcher vs hitter matchups, Where else can you go ...roy oswalt vs the reds??? OK and be 24-2 picking that way.

Why people lose in baseball so much is that there isn't a spread. They see a +160 spread and say no way can they win. If you really look at it a +160 dog is roughly a 5 maybe 5.5 points if it were a spread. Can those win? Sure they do all the time. That is why people lose at Baseball.

And Oswalt vs. the Reds (as you put it) would be about -280. "No spreads". --- Yeah, no spreads but huge moneylines. You can hit 3 underdogs for profit and give it all back in one game when taking a favorite. And all of you people saying 'So many games to bet day after day'....I would be willing to wager that you aren't winning baseball gamblers. Or maybe you have had a little success for a very short time. Winning MLB cappers don't wager a ton of games. They will play a few games, take days off at times with no action, and you have to know more than starting pitching. Do you not take the bullpen into account? What about a closer? Maybe a player has the day off or is in a huge slump. etc. Hey, I like to see people beat the books and hopefully you can, but coming in here and saying baseball is the easiest sport to beat because of no spreads and a ton of games....ummmm, no. That is basically saying you don't take the big MLs into account and that there are enough games to chase when you lose. That is just my opinion, though.

baseball is because the amount of games, no spread and the underdog payoffs. you have to know what your doing obviously, but it give you the best chance mathematically, this is a fact.

Well I'm not going to argue about this. To answer the original question:

Both tracking services. A lot of people use the top link, that is out of Oklahoma.

Baseball underdogs are the way to go, especially underdogs that have won a couple games or more in a row, baseball is very streaky, think of all the times you see a crappy pitcher and a team not expected to do much in the mlb season lay a beating on the yankees or another talented team? It happens allot. But the best in my opinion is when you have a dog at say + 150 on the road, team is 6-4 last 10 and 2 game win streak. I don't care what the pitching matchup is, I'm on that game and every other game that meets that criteria. If you have the time you can search past seasons and see for yourself just how many dogs win games. Never bet big favs in mlb and you will be up lots by the all star break.
