I have not made my decision as of right now....
I do really like the over....
as for the side....i do think that Troy is the right side...but it's really hard to go against LeFevour....I think Troy has more weapons on offense, but their defense really sucks which is why I like the over...
as for the side....like i just said, I am not sure on the side yet Truth, but I will let you know via this thread at some point what my unit plays are and what I am going to play in all
I am pretty sure i will have higher unit values on the over than on a side....
I still have my parlay out there from last night as well...I had Iowa, the Under, and Texas (tomorrow night)......
So, I think this will be a shootout and who wins/covers....i lean to Troy...but we will see
Truth, I am liking what you like as well so we will definitely see!
good luck and like I said, I will let you know what I will be playing later on today and the unit values on each

Like the insight on the CMU Troy there Jack. Im kinda torn now, but leas leaning with CMU bc of the QB...Just had a quick question about your parlay. I've learned to not make parlays over the course of wide time frames (early day with night games or days later) due to the fact that you can avoid taking a loss. For example, $10 on Iowa/Under parlay wins $36.14 (including the original $10). If you then turn around and put the $26.14 winnings on Tx, you guarantee you don't lose any money out of the bet. You still have your $10 back. As opposed to including TX on the parlay where you would lose $10 if Tx loses....Just curious to hear you thoughts on how you do this because I used to do that frequently until I realized I lost money that I could have been holding on to if I had just cut the bet off. The only benefit I found to long term parlays were locking in a good line and the use off additional points on teasers to help a current days game, along with a later game I felt good about. Let me know what ya think and if I am missing something here. Good luck tonight!

to be honest....on the parlay....i was bored last night after i had already played iowa and the under....
I agree with your analysis for sure...
to be honest...i liked texas so i just decided to "throw" them in with iowa and the under....
    i usually don't do that...but just said...."what the hell"
but otherwise I totally agree with what you said
and as for locking in a good line...i added texas b/c i think that line will drop more and more b/4 game time tomorrow

I gotcha Jack, I know what you mean there. I do that once in a while myself on sundays with the NFL nightgames, especially if I think I'll be away from a computer to be in time to get back to place on the night game. As well before the line moves...I figured you knew but just wanted to help out in case, I went a while without realizing last year. I also agree that I think the line's going to go down on TX

I agree with you guys too on the parley.. But I also bet a 3 teamer with one on a game that is playing on a different day (or a night game) once in a while. I think that this gives you a couple of options. If the first 2 win, You could bet some on the other side ( enough to get your original bet back or a little more), or if the line does move (in favor of the team you bet against) you could bet the other side and possibly get a middle.

Wrong side. Maybe you guys are thinking of the Troy team that started the year. Before you get silly, go take a look at what Troy did at the end of the year. Their last 4 or 5 games were horrible and they were a great fade. LeFevour is putting on a show for the NFL tonight and his Coaches know this, so I'd look for him to unleash a crazy air attack on a horrible Troy defense. Also, CMU actually has a legit defense. I could end up eating my words, but I really don't think so. The system I use has CMU as a 12.5 favorite.

I don't know. He was actually putting on a "show" for the scouts in the MAC championship game against lowly Ohio and looked very pedestrian. Levi Brown, Troy's signal caller, was just as legit this year throwing for 800 more yards than LeFevour. This game should be fairly close. I know a few of the other cappers at that site are on Troy along with Redd, and have decent-sized plays on them. I don't know, I might just watch this one and enjoy the fireworks.

You can't compare the Ohio defense to the Troy defense. I'm not telling anybody who to take, but CMU wins this large.

Just wait for Dwayne Bryant's pick, assuming he has one on this game. If he and Redd line up, then go with it!!!!! Redd is somewhere around 13-2-1 in bowls!!

When a guy is 13-2, I will fade. It's called variance. Think of it as 'what goes up, must come down.' theory. Plus, this is just 20 dimer.

This is one of those weird line sitches where the money is coming in on CMU (according to sports com and vegasinsider) but the spread is going DOWN from -4 to -3. I see in other situations like this that going with the money is the right side at least 2/3 of the time....any opinions?

With the lack of defense by troy's secondary and the fact that I believe this will be really high scoring (hope I'm right)
I will be putting 3 units on the over and
    2 units on troy

Good luck guys hope redd and nover get it done tonight!

    Good luck

Hope we all keep the money train going

Missed the game (I was traveling) but it was one where both sides could have won or lost depending on when they played it...line moved from 4 -2-3 giving everyone a chance for the W.
