i dont think redd has had many college hoops plays this year yet...i think hes waiting till bowl season is over before he starts hitting it up....never a terrible idea to sit out early and try to get a good read

hey Z, how's it going buddy? Hope you hit that 6 unit under last night as well (never in doubt was it lol ).

I am and have been a BIG TEN (or 11, if you will) backer all bowl season. With that being said, all Big Ten teams have been dogs and all (except mich state which really should have covered) have covered and nearly won outright if they did not win.

This game is interesting. Last year, Georgia Tech got absolutely rolled by LSU. Why? Because LSU was just as fast and had a long time to prepare for the game and the option attack from Georgia Tech. Last year, i made the mistake of betting on Georgia Tech b/c of their amazing run game. What happened? They got down by like 14 points early. When you get down like that as a prolific running team without a stout defense, you have to start moving away from your game plan and that cost georgia tech last year as they got steam-rolled.

Iowa has had a long time to prepare for this game as well. They have a really, really good run defense and the strength of Iowa's run defense is up the middle while Georgia Tech is at its best running the ball inside. With that being said, Georgia Tech may be able to run the ball outside, but I don't foresee them ripping huge chunks of yards in this game b/c of the solid linebacking core and defensive line that iowa has.

I hope that the corner backs of iowa don't fall asleep b/c the only thing i could see is Josh Nesbitt throwing a long bomb to Demaryius Thomas who is a really good receiver.

With all the time Iowa has had to prepare for the game, i think they can do a pretty good job stopping the run and force Nesbitt to throw the ball more than he wants which would lead in to the hands of Iowa's defense as they have had a ton if interceptions this year. And, as Big Ten running teams show (like Iowa and Sconnie), the Iowa offensive line should be able to control the line of scrimmage just as the Sconnie line did against "THE U."

So, I will most likely take IOWA tonight +5.5, but i have not determined my unit wagering yet.

Z, I will post later in this thread, how many units i will put on iowa.

Good luck Zbones in whatever you play

    very nice Truth!

i have not looked at the total at a capping standpoint as of right now....

Big Ten "defensive teams" (i.e. ohio state, iowa, penn state) usually do have low scoring games....

so i lean under...but do not know as of now if i will play a total...

if i do.....i'll let you know
