good stuff.. Robert, any thoughts on your Miss State play? There are a real solid team this year, been on fire.. I don't know too much about Western Kentucky personally besides the fact that I was shocked when they won at Vandy..

The oddsmakers can keep doubting the Bulldogs all they want. But Mississippi Sate is 8-1 ATS in its last nine road games, they have crushed teams like Old Dominion, Wright State, UCLA and Depaul, and St. Bonaventure while also beating a good Houston team. Those teams grade out similarly (some better, some worse) than WKU. The Hilltoppers lost by 11 to LSU, by 18 to South Carolina, and by 27 to Louisville. I know that those three games were all on the road. But the average loss there is by about 18 points per game. Is their home court worth 11 points? Oh, and that’s ignoring the fact that Mississippi State is better than all three of those teams and that they won by 28 when these teams met last year. That’s right: Mississippi State won by 28 points at home last year. The venue has switched, but WKU is without two of its starters from that game (they lost their top player to graduation and another starter is injured). So, again, I understand that home court and revenge are factors. But I don’t see a 20-plus point swing in this game. Mississippi State is a year older, a year better and they have already proven that they can lay the hammer in these games. The Bulldogs athleticism and interior presence will force WKU into being a 3-point-only shooting team. That is not the Toppers’ strong suit, as they are No. 265 of 345 in terms of 3-point shooting. This WKU team is not up to the par of the past three years and the Sun Belt is just another below-average conference. I like Miss. State to handle their business and this line is at least 4 points light.

I would say to get a new book (not to dump your current; especially if they have been good to you). But the 5-point is really, in my opinion, where the value is.

Now, I didn't think it got much uglier than that USC-Arizona State win over the weekend. But now Miss. State and WKU combined to start 9-FOR-36 from the field! State went seven minutes without a field goal and during one stretch they went seven straight possessions with a turnover.......and WKU has been worse.

Really not sure who that gives the edge to going into the second half. But I will say that if one team can score on three straight possessions or four of five then they are going to take over this game and probably not look back. First burst is going to have a big edge.

    Go Bulldogs!

You're gonna end up in a loony bin if you keep getting involved with some of these people in here. I hate these kind of games, that's why I cringed with your big USC, I've seen too many of their poor shooting nights. Speaking of... you think they cash it in or come back with something to prove?

Both teams have been awful on offense. Difference is Miss St. has been getting good looks all game, and they've been much smoother on offense. Western Kentucky just tries to pick for Slaughter and let him heave away. So what will happen first, A.J. gets hot or Miss St. starts making baskets?

He was on a little cold spell for about 2 weeks, but has gotten his rhythm back now, was +104 at his peak this year

    Proffett, you called it.

State doesn't have a ****ing prayer here. Sorry lads. Probably just a bad pick, even though Western Kentucky is ****ing awful. I mean, they are AWFUL. Same thing as that Michigan loss the other day - I will make money betting against them all season because they blow. State clearly looking ahead to Ole Miss this weekend and looks like WKU will get revenge. (I repeat: WKU is terrible.)

    Good night.

Unreal. Miss St. misses a lay up for the win with 8 sec left. I know they wouldn't have covered, but how the F*ck do you misss a lay up and free throws in the last minute.

Hey RF, why did you play the Miss St. teaser that crosses the pk line? I did not play any of those and feel like they had no value. Considering we were laying the 3U already.......
