5 Unit Play. #531 Take Gonzaga +3 over Illinois (1 pm CBS) Gonzaga is the better team but they have a couple of factors working against them and thus they enter as an underdog. This is like a 10 am game for them and they did play Thursday night in Spokane, WA. But Illinois just does not have the offensive firepower to match that of the Bulldogs. This game is being played in Chicago and not Assembly Hall and much of the Orange crush advantage will be neutralized. Gonzaga wins this game straight-up and getting points in just an added bonus.

4 Unit Play. #624 Take USC -1 ½ over Arizona State (10:30 pm FSN) The Devils never have much luck in the Los Angeles area and they will drop both games after an embarrassing performance against UCLA on Thursday. USC may be the second best team in the PAC-10 and will enter this game having won seven straight games. They have some impressive wins during this streak including St. Mary’s, UNLV, and Tennessee. The Trojans own a 48-32 series advantage over the Sun Devils, including a 66-63 win in the most recent meeting last season in the Pac-10 Tournament. The Sun Devils do not have much offensive firepower and that does not bode well especially when playing on the road.
