Patron used to be money. This year I've seen him lose on a few of his huge plays. I actually see a lot of touts on Ohio St, which amazes me. Then again, the good ones usually love getting points with a team that has the much better defense.
Except for that first game of the season against Boise St. Oregon has been putting up close to 40pts a game. There only other loss was against Stanford who no doubt suprised alot of us this year (Took them with the points yesterday, woohoo). Anyway I just don't think Ohio st. will be able to shoot it out with Oregon. I also belive that Oregon played a slightly tuffer schedule. I got Oregon at -3 earlier it the week though. And as far as alot of touts being on one side, well, you know how that ususally goes.
Sagarin ranks Oregons schedule the 7th "toughest" as he and most have a very positive opinion of the Pac 10 in 2009. Hard to get real excited about the conference.
Oregon State - crushed 20-44 versus BYU
California - beat 27-37 by Utah
USC beat up BC 24-13
UCLA beat Temple 30-21 but come on, it was Temple
Arizona gets killed 0-33 by Nebraska
Stanford put up a fight but losses 27-31 to Oklahoma
2-4 in bowl game "prior to New Years" is far from impressive for the Pac 10.
Seems like the TOUTS figure OSU is due. I watched them quite a few times this year and they are not very impressive but probably a little more motivated than Oregon.
