Marc has been around for years and is one of the best, and always has been documented. He doesn't need to be stealing picks from anybody, if anything it's the other way around, whoever Dwayne Bryant is.

Marc has authored thousands of articles expounding on the fact that three primary forms of sports handicapping exist. They are Fundamental, Statistical and Technical. To be a successful handicapper one must be a well-rounded handicapper, meaning it's important to blend all three forms into the handicapping equation. Marc's relies heavily on a powerful database he owns of scores, stat and results of games played since 1980 in College and Pro Football, along with College and Pro Basketball.

Marc Lawrence has been handicapping sports professionally since 1975, having won more documented Top 10 Handicapping Achievement awards than any handicapper in the nation. He won the 2005 STARDUST FOOTBALL INVITATIONAL contest and was a SEMI-FINALIST in the 2006 $100,000 LEROYS' MONEY TALKS Contest last season. He finished the 2006 season as the No. 1 handicapper in the NFL as documented by SPORTS WATCH in Las Vegas. Marc also finished No. 1 in the nation in College Football win percentage in 2005 as documented by both the SPORTS MONITOR in Oklahoma and SPORTS WATCH in Las Vegas. He was named HANDICAPPER OF THE YEAR in 2005 by FOOTBALL NEWS.
Marc has hosted a national radio show (MARC LAWRENCE AGAINST THE SPREAD) for each of the last 15 years on over 100 stations syndicated in the USA. He is a tireless handicapper who works a minimum 60-hour week during the football and basketball seasons. As a handicapper he firmly believes that three things can happen when you bet an underdog, and two of them are good. He enjoys helping others to become better informed to the nuances of handicapping. Marc married his high school sweetheart 39 years ago and has one son, Marc Jr, who works together with him in the industry. A former high school class president, he never attended college. He claims to have graduated Magna *** Laude from UHK (University of Hard Knocks). Aside from publishing the PLAYBOOK Football Yearbook magazine and Weekly Newsletters, Marc likes golf and horse racing. He is an avid swimmer and enjoys going out to dinner, to the movies and to concerts and plays with his high school sweetheart. He loves music, both rock and country, and is a big fan of The Boss (Bruce Springsteen).

Marc is the undisputed best handicapper. He does it without the hype & bullshit too! Stu Feiner, Lang, & these clowns are a disgrace to a man who puts in the work to give consistent winners. He follows no one! Dwayne who????

If you are serious about investing in sports, you need to do your research. Start with Sportswatch and the Sports Monitor. These are both very reputable websites that monitor handicappers. You need to sit down and look over historical results of these handicappers. Yes, you can make money following the games posted here -- for instance, two very reputable handicappers who post here are Big Al McMordie and Marc Lawrence. Both have won many, many #1 titles in both football and basketball. I would suggest you start off playing all of their plays rated 3 units or higher. (Big Al's scale is opinion, 3*, 4* 5* -- ignore opinion games, play exclusively 3-5* -- so tonight, you have a 4* on Tennessee, Al won his 4* play last night on Idaho, as well as his two 3* CBB plays on Harvard and Virginia -- if you had played his games yesterday, you would be +10 units after the night was over). Marc Lawrence yesterday had a 3 unit play on Nebraska, so you would actually be up 13 units, having gone 4-0. Today both Al and Marc are on Tennessee, that is clearly a strong play.

You also need to consider money management. Top handicappers hit between 57-60%, on avg. people can do better than this in a given year, but historically, if a guy hits 58% in all sports he is awesome. You need to play in such a way that you don't get crushed during a losing streak. You should NEVER CARE about the outcome of a given game. For example, my average play is $1000. I have $100,000 available to bet with (I am a partner at a law firm, so my salary allows me to dedicate a substantial sum to playing). I have this money distributed at over ten books, including Bodog, BetPhoenix, Bookmaker, 5dimes, betUS, The Greek, etc etc. The reason is both to minimize possibility of losing $$$ if one gets shut down, but also to LINE SHOP. If you want to be successful and are playing money large enough for you to care if you lose, you need at a minimum 3 outs. Different books are good for different things -- Bodog prefers to move juice, not lines, so I can usually get a 7 when everywhere else has a 6 or 6.5, so long as I laying additional jucie. I love playing the reduced juice shops like BetPhoenix (-105), that really helps the bottom line. At the end of the day, the bare minimum you should have is 30x your max bet. My max bet is 3k, those are very rare, so I keep 100k on hand, which is a little over 30x. You can have a terrible losing streak to start off with, it can definitely happen, you need to be certain you can ride it out.

If you do precisely what I just told you, you will undoubtedly make money in the long-run. HTH.

If you would like to PM me with a contact email, I will respond from my personal email address. I am always happy to assist people, it is a lot easier to make money playing than people realize, you have all the resources at your disposal, but being impatient will kill you. For instance, I was just pissing and moaning about Helmut costing me thousands as of late. Nonetheless, I will play him all season, as wagering is a long-term process, and the last month is a narrow window. The very best can have an 0-5 day, you choose that day to tail, you think they suck, but they don't -- that's just the nature of the beast.
