First, I want to take a moment to clarify the new NBA rule with
you. As you know, I've updated the NBA system to reflect the rare
phenomenon where the team you're betting on is a favorite of more
than 3 points. In such situations, make your wager on the Money Line.
======================================== ====
BUT, let me make this crystal clear: You can still always bet on
the spread and buy 3 points if you're not comfortable in putting
down a larger risk on the Money Line - There is NOTHING wrong with
that. There's still a tremendous amount of value regardless whether
if you wager on the spread and buy 3 points, or bet straight on the
money line when you team is a favorite of -3 or greater. Betting on
the spread and buy 3 points will surely result in a few missed covers,
but the overall return on your investment over long term is comparable
to that of betting straight on the Money Line in such situations.
======================================== ====
So, whether you decide to bet on the Money Line, or on the spread
and buy 3 points when your team is a favorite of -3 or more is not
important, that's not what the new rule is specifically about. But
what is important with the new rule is that you must understand that
if your team manages to win the game straight up, then the betting
series is over, period! This means that if you decide that you still
want to bet on the spread and buy 3 points in all your bets because
you don't want to risk a larger amount, then just remember not to
continue a series if your team manages to straight up win a game.
Now, it's important that we keep the record of the system as clear
as possible. As you know, I have always held your opinion in the
highest of all regards, and my question to you last time was on how
you wanted me to track the record of the system with the inclusion
of the new rule. The majority of us have agreed that the record
should genuinely reflect our betting performance, while at the same
time be clear of all confusions going forward. Vote [C] has been the
most well-accepted response I've received, and I agree with you as
well (hey, great minds think alike right!?). The series with
Houston, although was a [B] winner with the current system, should
not and will not be recorded as a win.
Going forward, we will mark the system record at 26-0. We will mark
our own betting performance at 26-1.
I do want to let you know that our next NBA system bet is about a
week away. For now, enjoy the bundle of cash you've banked so far
this NBA season, even with that slight bump, and get yourself ready
for yet another legendary winning ride of your life in 2010!![]()
Have a warm and happy new year! Just don't get into too much troubles
on the Eve ok Bobby? You have a wealth of a fortune waiting
for you ahead in this NBA season, so stay safe, have fun, and cheer
as we move onward to a brand new decade, with much fortunes to come!
