Default I will fade Lang for the entire year of 2009!

I have created a separate account at Matchbook and plan to fade ever single one of Lang's plays for $10 each.

    *i meant 2010

I think he is asking about $10 each bet or $10 per dime. It works best if you follow his units correctly and stagger.

Fading him won't work unless you go by his dime system. The reason he loses so much is because of his rating system. If you don't have the cash to drop a certain amount per dime, then I highly suggest you don't do it.

For example: He was actually on a tear in the NFL but his dumb ass played small dime plays and then he ended up giving it ALL back and losing a LOT more because he got cocky and started making his plays for much bigger units and lost. So at least recently, he has won more games than he has lost but he has lost a TON more dimes / units because of how he grades his plays.

    Ok, $10=1 dime

I have enough money for 100 unit plays

Well, he rarely releases 100 unit plays, so that will be a good thing. But by the time he's chasing enough to release his 100 dime plays, you should have enough built up from his 10, 15, 25 dimes that you can cover his 100 dimes! Honestly, if I had the money to fad him the correct way, I would absolutely do it. I honestly don't think that people realize you will make more money by fading the worst cappers around than you will by tailing the best. Actually, you will make money by fading almost every tout / capper that there is over a years time! And that my friend is the truth. My first year as a tout on vegasinsider, I was stinking it up in MLB and I had two people buy my season package. I couldn't figure out why until I realized it was because they wanted to fade me. It's honestly not a bad idea. (oh, and MLB was by far my worst sport!)

Paste, there are a whole bunch of lang faders, me included... Go to the normal lang posts you'll see alot more people with overall records, good thing is in 2 days the overall track starts over as its 2010.

What i find interesting is how you were going to fade 10$ per bet, which really isnt alot and wernt going to use his 'dime' system. Then included you had the 1k to run on his 100 dimer's when someone posted after me that you would be wise to use it for longer term and better profiting reasons (scaleing). Thats interesting due to the fact that any smart money managing would have a 100 dimer (max play) at 10% of their bankroll tops, even that is a little excessive...

Seriously, I could post my MLB picks and if people faded me, they would most likely make a lot of money! If only somehow I could make myself fade myself....if that makes sense..?? I'd make a killing in MLB. Honestly though, I don't bet MLB because it costs way too much money. I just can't do moneyline betting. Too expensive.

Should just do it for fun then, grab a little bit of money that doesnt really effect you, keep tabs of it and wager, who cares if its not the grand daddy of your bank roll, aslong as at the end of the season it pays for some of your beer money you're doin good. Just dont bet with scared money, it never wins. (Not saying this as if you didnt know it, just sometimes it takes a lil nudge)

I am considering the same thing....is there one sport where his track record seems to be consistently worse than others? Or would it be best to fade every play every day?

Also, you guys recommend using his dime system as opposed to a set bet amount no matter what? He had 100 dimes on Miami last night and that lost. He seemed to be chasing to get his record looking a little better for the end of the year. I haven't seen today's picks but probably has some big unit plays on it!

You can follow his dime system with small amounts, a 10 dime is $10.00, 25 dime is $25.00, and so on. If you had done so in 2009 you be up about $1600.00 for the year. And that doesn't include his free play which usually lose also. I honestly believe that lang is paid by vegas to release his plays so that the public follows. He sells a ton of picks, and either hits a few plays and people follow or he has them so far down that they just keep chasing trying to get out of a hole.

Lang is the Joe public bettor. He always makes his plays on public team, nationally televised, high profile games that are getting a ton of action. The only time I even consider going with lang is when he is on underdog that less than 20% of the bets are on his side.

Fade away and enjoy the profits.

thats why these guys sell picks, if they were so good they would just bet their own plays and live off the $$.......why bother selling picks if u are so good? just go to the window in Vegas and bet

at pregame yesterday of the 16 cappers that released plays only 7 were over 50%.......2-1...1-0...1-0...1-0...1-0...3-0...2-0....Burns was 0-5!....of those 7 four were just one game which is probably the best approach besides fading Mr Lang

I'm currently tracking his starts and am doing 2008. He did rather well in the ncaa tourny last year. HOWEVER, he had a 100 unit play on Memphis in the championship that lost and wiped out his profits.

the only quarrel i have with this comment is that some people may "sell" their picks because people want to know what they are playing (just a thought). If there are some really really good wise guys....some might strictly sell their picks b/c people want to know what they are playing daily. Why not...i would....extra money never hurt anyone
