Default Money wise- Is it better to play few games per day or many games per day?

    any feedback?

    Smile Plays

    Good question.
In the past , I have been an action player
    and it was never fruitful.
I like one good play ....
If nothing is there I will pass.
(Although it is a tough policy on Sundays during the NFL
when I allow myself up to 3 plays.)

The experts say you can have a high percentage, player fewer games and make a fair amount. But you can have a slightly lower percentage, play more games and make way more. So im assuming if there is value on the board, it would probaly be more profitable to play more games. Especially when you're getting sports picks from 2-3 reputable handicappers.

You should wager when there is a positive expected value (EV). If someone consistently hits 55%, whether it is one play, three plays or 30 plays, you should bet them. I am amused by the services that pick 1, 2 or 4 plays every day (whatever the number is) REGARDLESS of the number of games on the board. How is it that some services can find a wager EVERY Monday (and sometimes Thursday) night in football (when there is only game), yet on a Sunday, can only find 2 games to bet on? If you consistently find a game to wager on when there are say 10 games, then, when there are say, 50 games, you should be able to find 5 games to bet on.

As much as I like a service like PureLock (1 game per day) or SCORE (3 pro on Sundays and 4 college games on Saturday), I find it implausible that some days/weeks there should not be more or less games to bet on.

A good bet is a good is a good bet, period.

u can make more betting more games and winning at lower % but the hard part is betting lot of games and being able to hit 55% on reg basis on those bets.......most people cant bet 5-10 games a day and win

if you're hitting 55% consistently, you should be playing any game where you think you can find an edge. volume is key, as long as you find edge plays (this includes all sports, small soccer divisions, water polo, everything). the pure volume mixed with your edge should grow your bankroll. the problem with this is if you do not have an edge, the volume will destroy your bankroll quickly.

on the flipside, if you're not sure hot good you are, you can make spot plays, place a lot of money down and hope for the win. this is obviously more dangerous, but it is possible to win long term this way, even making -EV bets. the sheer lack of plays makes winning and losing about even. it's as if someone plays roulette once every 10 years. he lays his whole BR on red each time, and doubles, his BR each 10 years with some luck. the odds are against him, but the lack of volume makes it possible to win, since he'll only be playing a few spins. the more he plays though, the more the -EV bets will catch up to him.

the key i think is to follow a couple of reputable handicappers, and then you will have more games per game- hitting a fair rate.
