Actually people mvp is dead wrong. The truth is, I've been following Torelli long before he started documenting his picks on Covers.com. He hasnt lost a week in about 2 Months. So for people saying that he did bad last week must have jumped on board on a bad day or something. He went: 14-8-4 Last week for +2000 Units. If thats a bad week, or bad streak, please tell me which capper you believe has the crystal ball. I ve tried MANY different cappers and Torelli seems the most reliable at this time. Everyone has bad streaks. Little kids who come on to these sites that maybe shouldnt be gambling away their allowances get all sour when a capper has a few bad days. NO capper, can win everyday guys.
Your best advice in finding a capper you like is to NOT take the advice of other people on these forums. Instead, keep an eye on some cappers and make a choice for yourself. Ive done that over the past 10 years. It takes time.
Yeah thanks for providing that information, it is very much appreciated. I tried finding these stats at his covers page but I couldn't find it. Maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. The guy seems extremely consistent if you ask me though... I'm just hoping he's not one of those top cappers where you can rely on and then all of a sudden he hits a major cold streak... Sort of like whats been happening to Robert Ferringo. He was hitting 70 % on College Hoops this season and he practically went like 1-8 today... or some shit like that, absolutely horrible..
Believe me buddy, Ive tried almost every known capper thats listed on this site. It seems as though all the Big Name guys who belong to a Service Site are just marketed well. I believe a smaller name guy like Joey Torelli might actually put in more hard work than these guys do. He's trying to gain peoples respect, not a marketing team selling his name.
As for Ferringo...Yes, he was hot....BUT....There's no way in hell these guys can cap that many games per day. All they are doing is releasing a shit load of picks, crossing their fingers, and trying to hit over 50% so they can say they made you a profit. Its horrible.
(Not taking anything away from Ferringo at ALL...I respect Ferringo alot!! I just think he would be much better even if he cut down his releases by half and spent more time capping each one. Theres no doubt the guy is talented.
Ferringo is undoubtedly one of the top College Basketball handicappers in the nation, he's not a fraud like 95 % of the other cappers out there but you're right, he shouldn't be releasing that many picks.. If he stuck to 1-3 plays daily, his clients would be up huge. Instead of wasting time analyzing and dissecting 8-9 plays, spend that time scouring the card and findind the 1-2 strongest possible selections on the night...
On another note, Marc Lawrewnce is another extremely consistent proven handicapper. I been following him alot more recently to. He's very good. Reminds me alot of Torelli
I agree. I also respect Stan Sharp alot. He's a one play per day type of capper and has been pretty consistent over the years. Just as Indian Cowboy was before he went tout. Now he releases a ton of plays and doesnt do half as good.
