3-Unit Play #707 Take LA Clippers +9 Over San Antonio (8:30 p.m. EST, Monday)
The Clippers have been getting back on track since being knocked around by this same Spurs team on the 13th of this month. We think this will be a much closer game tonight, however. These teams are not as far off for W/L record as this spread would indicate. The Clippers have won three of four since that loss to the Spurs and they seem to be playing with a lot more confidence. In that last game the Clippers got off to a horrible start and then had poor shot selection down the stretch as they attempted to come back from a huge deficit. But for the “meat” of the game we think LA was able to play with San Antonio and we think that they keep this one pretty close on Monday.
