I got this play around 8:00 P.M. Eastern on Friday evening and as I put it up online, I see the price is 7 1/2 in Vegas and just about everywhere offshore except that one notorious book where they always overcharge you for playing favorites. Needless to say, if your price is 7 1/2, the wise move is to buy down the 1/2 point as the insurance often pays. But, if this price moves up to -8, or if that is the price you get even after shopping around, there is no need with that number to purchase the 1/2 point as the hook in that case is meaningless.

wow, another"square" pick that turned into a loser.... I am so glad i stayed away from the side in this game..... that makes 5 out of 6 losers, not including today..... As I said previously, this guys was money the last 2 years, but this year he has been driving me crazy with dumb pick after dumb pick, that I even said to myself "'I don't like this play, but I am going to trust him because he is an expert".....

According to his own website he is 14-16 this year making his college and nfl picks and I do commend him for keeping an honest, upfront record...... But in the handicapping business, you are only as good as your few picks, and he has not been good.

..... Did he even have a play today? I didn't see anyone begging for his play this morning after last nights loser.....

Anyone else have an opionion? Is he going to turn it around and is due for a "hot streak"? Or just stay away?

If you paid for the plays you would also be out that money as well.

Your right he does play a lot of square plays.
I also think thats why he is so popular.

he used to pick alot of small favorites, around -3 or -4 that would win in blowout fashion, now he's taking shots with -10 and -14 favorites who are barely winning straight up, much less covering
