2-Unit Play #501 Take Indiana +7 ½ Over Washington (7 p.m. EST, Saturday)
This play is more of a fade against Washington than anything. The Wizards have been e games lately and none of their last five contests have been decided by more than four points. This is just not a very good team and we don’t think they are worthy of being this big of chalk against any team, not even Indiana. The Pacers have won and covered in three of the last four meetings and we think they challenge for the straight up win in a close game tonight.
3-Unit Play #514 Take Utah -2 Over LA Lakers (9 p.m. EST, Saturday)
The Lakers have seemed unbeatable lately but we think they fall tonight in Utah. We think revenge is a very overrated handicapping concept for the NBA but in certain situations it becomes relevant and we think this is the case tonight. The Jazz were up a couple nights ago in LA at halftime and had a total collapse in the fourth quarter, scoring only 6 points. We are sure this situation is fresh on the Jazz minds and we think they give the same effort from the first half of that game for all four quarters in the building where they can and have beaten the elite teams of the NBA.
