    Default Doc's NBA 12/10

    3-Unit Play #502 Take Detroit +7 Over Denver (7:30 p.m. EST, Thursday)
Taking a shot on the home underdog here. Detroit has been playing much better lately and they have won and covered in four of their last five outings. They do come in on a back to back and Denver had the night off and we are sure that is factored into this line already. However, what we don’t think is factored into this line is the fact that this will be Denver ‘s third road game in four nights and we really think the wear-and-tear level will be about equal for these teams tonight. Also, even though Ben Gordon is listed as questionable for the Pistons he was a game-time decision last night and he didn’t go so that increases the likelihood that he will be back tonight and his 19 points a game will be a great boon to this Detroit offense against a Denver team that can put the ball in the basket. Detroit has actually dominated this series as they have won four straight and four of five with the only loss coming in OT.

    3-Unit Play #503 Take Boston/Washington UNDER 195 (8 p.m. EST, Thursday)
Boston loves to do what they do best on TNT Thursday and that is play defense. The under is 27-11 on TNT Thursday when the country is watching. We usually don’t put a lot of credence in “day of the week” stats but you can tell that Boston likes to play defense on the national stage and that this is a trend that started even before they were a defensive-oriented ballclub. We have to take a look at the under anytime we see a Boston total in the mid-190s and this one fit the bill for a pick. Boston has been playing some stifling defense lately and have not allowed an opponent to score more than 90 points in their last five contests. They have allowed just 87 PPG during that span. Washington is far from an offensive juggernaut an d their scores have been inflated lately by playing some real bad defensive teams.

    3-Unit Play #506 Take Orlando/Utah UNDER 202 (10:35 p.m. EST, Thursday)
Utah scored a pitiful six points in the fourth quarter last night in a game against the Lakers and lost by 24 in a game where they actually led at halftime! I don’t know, but there is a very good chance that that bugaboo could carry over into tonight’s game. It has to be sticking around in their heads, at the very least. Orlando has had some very high totals lately but look at who they have played recently: Golden State, Milwaukee and New York twice on their recent string of overs. Orlando, however, is a team that can adapt to who they are playing and tonight we see more of a defensive-centered game. Orlando is Top 6 in the NB A in both points allowed and defensive field goal percentage. Also, Utah is pretty banged up right now and that has to be affecting their offensive continuity (again, see six-point fourth quarter last night). Orlando is also a team that likes to flex their defensive muscle on TNT as the under is 14-3 in the last 17 Thursday games.

Every other day Doc has a good day, and every other day he has a bad one. Since yesterday was great, we might be in for a bad one!

I'm a bit concerned about his sudden switch from side to total plays...

It is best to play all the games. The best of the best sports bettors hit about 57-58 percent long term, that's just a little bit over half. So, you will have losing days, and losing weeks. Just focus on month by month. Sports betting is a marathon, not a sprint. If you add money to betting, and bet the games daily, you can make a lot of money. If you had a $10,000 bankroll, hitting 57-58 percent you can make a living with sports betting vs a $1,000 bankroll, you can make extra money. Nevertheless it is a profitable industry to make profits in, just focus on the long-term and this business can build you a fortune. Good luck!

Doc was real good when I first started tailing him, now he's turned into garbage. Everytime I open up a thread with Doc's name on it, he has a losing night... His 3 Unit picks are $$$$ In the bank if you fade them and his 5 Unit picks hit slightly below 50 % with more losses I believe then wins..

Read on the homepage. $100 bettors made like $18,000 last season. So you can make a living with less than a $10,000 bankroll. Furthermore, when you all say his 3 unit picks suck. You have to realize that the best sports bettors in the world as said bearly hit over 50 %- more like 57-58 percent long-term. So you can't judge betting based on 1 day, or 2 weeks. Judge it based on the end of the month. Then look at the profit that you made. You will have plenty losing days/weeks. But you will still make a lot of money. If you play every game, use money management, you will make a healthy profit over the long-term. They said $100 bettors, made almost $3,000 in the last 4 weeks playing doc's picks! So that's a heck of a return. Im just excited about doc's picks, and will focus on the long-term and take it as a business! They get over 30,000 views to their site a day! Wow!

mr.wesley, you sound very intelligent but you are alittle mistaken. when doc states $100 bettors he means per unit. that means tonight you would have at risk $990 with 3 games at 3 units each. if you have a $10k bankroll then you would have 10% at risk in a single night. with that scenerio you are waiting for disaster to happen. smart money management should only have 1% on a game. at that % rate you should only have $30 on each unit of doc's. so with a $10k starting bankroll betting 1% on a single game you definetly would no be able to make that much money hitting 58%. doc is showing what you would have made the last 4 weeks playing football and baskets. why does he not show you what you would have made the whole football season so far?

oh i apologize for my misunderstanding. So doc is saying $100 per unit played, would've made a player about $2800 in the last 4 weeks. 3 units= $300. That equals $100 per unit. Now as far as betting 1 % per game. That's extremely low. A basic rule to follow would be. For every unit- that would equal 1 percent of your bankroll. So 1 unit = 1 percent, and 5 units= 5 percent of your bankroll. Most money management principles would say 3 percent to 5 percent is suffice. 1 percent is for the scared bettor. lol. Furthermore if i had $10,000. The 3 plays today was a 3 unit play. So i would bet $300 on each play, which would equal $100/unit, which would equal $900 at risk. So keeping that up, would give me profits of about $2800. Apparently more, due to some picks being rated at 5-6 percent throughout the week, and the increase of my unit due to the increase of my bankroll- still following the percentage of my bankroll as said. Now if you had 10 percent at risk on 1 game, then that would lead to a disaster. But as long as you keep your bets in the 3 percent area per bet daily- you can't go wrong, and here and there 5 percent on the really good games- you cant go wrong. Mostly every article on money management says 3 percent on your daily bets is perfect. 1 percent is unheard of. lol. Furthermore if you have 10,000 dollars, and you're following this strategy, soon... you'll be at $20,000- added on with money you're putting in/profits you're making- you'll see be making a nice steady profit. As far as the profits for the football season. It says $100 bettors made about $19,000 for the last season. And it tells you how many units you would be up so far for this season. Thanks for the correction by the way.
