I just wanted to respond to something that someone had put in one of the other threads wondering about why the threads with my pick and with my comments in them were getting deleted or locked out.

Here's what Her Moderator had to say:

Don’t know about anyone else, but all I saw was good, open discussion between a professional handicapper and some bettors trying to make money. We’re rooting on plays, everyone was being cool, and we just were kind of enjoying the communal side of betting and forums.

Can anyone go into that post – which was locked out – and tell me if they see anything “promotional” or any “name calling”. Please let me know. Have I been in here selling picks? Have I been pimping our site? Have I even MENTIONED the site I work for? Have I made even one attempt to sell anything to anyone? Absolutely not. That’s not why I’m here and that’s now what I’m into. I don't think I have acted in any way inappropriately and I have had zero feedback from the mods on anything that they have found objectionable.

Does anyone else think that there was anything objectionable in there? And remember that after Willie’s post on Page 3, we got locked out. Then today they went back and combined the two posts that we were using last night.

(By the way, they lock me out but once again they try to piggyback on me: What’s great is that they took two of my posts in the 12/9 thread and added a sportsbook link into it. Why? Because it is beneficial to the site to have them in there, because clearly it was the most viewed post of the day.)

I would have to agree, i don't understand why willie bee thinks this is indians and cowboys and he could do whatever he wants. The one question of "how do you feel about your plays being posted". The reply was honest and had nothing to do with promotional advertising, obviously the guy is going to say that he is upset that they're being posted, but was also making the best of it. i think everyone involved in that conversation would feel the same. Willie maybe u didn't read the thread but the only thing that was being discussed was either people thanking RF, begging for certain games to come through and/or the usual stuff that go on around here... Whats up with that.... RF once again i hope u smash today.

I feel nervous posting these. If what i'm doing is not ok than i'm ****ed. I don't want to be stepping on anyones toes, escpecially not Roberts. Here they are.

2-Unit Play. Take #515 Colorado (-2.5) over Colorado State (9:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10)
Colorado is a really good basketball team. Colorado State is not. The Rams have been one of the best bets in hoops over the first few weeks and the books are just trying to slow them down by not offering too many points. Colorado has dominated this series, going 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings and 4-0 ATS in their last four trips to Colorado State, and this is the Buffs’ best team in several years. I think that they lay the wood tonight. Colorado is not a great favorite, but this line should be closer to 6.5. CSU doesn’t have a reliable point guard and I have serious questions about the ability of their coach, Tim Miles. I have seen them struggle against Princeton-style offenses in the past few years and I think that they won’t stop the Buffs this evening. We have our money on the better team, with the best player on the floor (Cory Higgins), and I think we should cash.

2-Unit Play. Take #509 Northeastern (+7.5) over Rhode Island (7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10)
When all of these New England teams play one another – Providence, Boston College, Northeastern, UMass, etc. – the points are usually good. I really like this Northeastern team. They are tough, experienced and they have revenge for a second-half collapse last year against the Rams. Rhode Island has played well so far this year. They aren’t the mess I expected. But they haven’t beaten anyone and they barely held off Quinnipiac in their last outing. Northeastern has played a brilliantly tough schedule. And coming off a four-point loss to Providence (same as Rhode Island) and a weak showing at Drexel things are getting a little desperate for this senior-laden club.

1.5-Unit Play. Take #519 Oakland (+21.5) over Michigan State (7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10)
For Oakland, this game is essentially the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby and the Lower Oakland Roller Derby Finals all rolled into one. Oakland is a quality team and will be playing in March. They have shooters and athletes and they have experience. They have played Michigan State four straight years and have lost by scores of 16, 4, 18, and 17. Any of those counts work for us. Oakland grades out closer to the Wofford (MSU by 12) and Citadel (MSU by 13) teams that Sparty has faced rather than the Toledo (by 13) and UMass (by 38) teams that they beat down. Oakland has played four games against Big Ten teams in the last 12 months and have lost them by an average of just 13 points. Michigan State is banged up. They are tired. They have already played a bunch of emotional games (Gonzaga, Florida, North Carolina, Citadel) and they have Texas coming up soon. How much do they have left in the tank at this point in the season? This is their last game before an eight-day layoff. I think they win, obviously, but only by about 19 as Oakland will keep playing to the final buzzer, even if they get down big. And if we miss here we'll still get a shot to get it back when Oakland plays Syracuse.

I was about to respond to my own thread with exactly what Robert just said....There was absolutely nothing offensive or off-topic in last night's discussion. We were all discussing the Uconn game and Robert was talking about life as a tout and it was actually really interesting stuff because you never get to have that kind of insight into how a prof. handicapper thinks. I came online this morning looking for last night's thread just to see what was written after I turned in..... The thread was simply titled "Ferringo" and it was gone goodbye.... Not sure what the agenda is there, but its more than a little annoying....
