Default A friendly warning to the Ferringo Gravy Train Riders

Love the guy to death but ever train makes it stops. He is a bit better at capping NCAAB than he is with MLB. Didn't anybody ride the MLB Gravy Train

I had his MLB the whole season in 08, it was great. I think he ended up 150+ units, probably quite a bit more, but not completely sure on the unit amount. I profitted a few thousand, and I was betting pretty small amounts per unit. Was much busier this summer and didn't buy his package however, why how did he do this year in MLB? I thought pretty well again? Of course the MLB is a much longer season, but I thought he picked up far more units in MLB annually, than CBB?

Also, it doesn't matter if his train makes it stops. It's a long term investment and I know that. I'm not looking to get rich on today's picks alone? Hopefully others know that as well, but it's no reason to fade or avoid the guy. He knows his stuff and makes money year after year.

I think you're right 1&10, but I'm with Phatty. Long haul, I think he's fairly sharp. I'm always willing to listen if there is a better bettor, but I think that Ferringo is a fairly solid long term CBB play.

***Now begins some ridiculous discussion of the Maximus report by the people that post below...I'm sure***

was somewhere around +70 units for the year, was up +150 and lost about 60-70 units in a 2 week span, lost 25 units in 1 night, he got sloppy and kept trying to chase instead of backing off. If you stuck with him from beginning to end, you made money. Too many people jumped on when he was up and for that, he will always get slammed on this site.

1st and Ten .... what was the point of starting this thread??? All I see is that he was up units if you were with him the whole season...that is all you can ask for...jump from capper to capper you are risking hitting them during a cold streak and then having dumb ass posts like this.

Ask all the posters that jumped on when he was plus 95 units and then dropped 30 over two weeks. CASE CLOSED

the max report has run COLD i mean who knows if it ever was hot. i was in a group that got suckered and bought the monthly ncaa package. i have saved you all tons of money by not posting. his locks are on a 0-8 run. the only thing he is good at is picking over/unders they have kept me from my online account not going bankrupt!

Think this is the right time to start tailing him I guess. Now everyone will stop tailing ans usually thats when a capper gets hot again....and then poeple start tailing and again he starts losing. Thats how things work. I have been tailing services for years and I know how this stuff goes.

SO......either just ride the train or just dont ever start tailing him. You cant jump from the other hot capper to another.

That Hawaii game was sweet. I watched it through the night on ESPN U, while running on my treadmill, chewing skoal, eating hard boiled eggs, and listening to "sleigh ride."

Just hear those sleigh bells ringing and jing ting tingaling too
Come on its lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you

I remember when this thread was started. Shortly after this post, Ferringo joined the forum and 1st and Ten was quite fond of the guy...tailing and cheering for the him. Now all this CASE CLOSED talk? You seem confused?

In fact on 12/5 you wrote:
"Never had a losing season w/ him"
and "One of the most honest and BEST cappers in the industry"
and "I can't believe Robert is here. I follow your NCAAB and MLB...have been for many years. Youre the greatest capper around."
and " Send Jeremy, Wade, Doc and Company my regards"

You are the perfect example of worshiping a guy when he's hot and stoning him when he's not. Do you understand the hot and cold streaks of handicapping?

Ever since The Doc passed, Ferrigno has not been the same. He will get over this soon and get his head back on straight. Trust me guys. Allow the poor guy to mourn his mentor.

I also remember he was +34 units the week this post was made and this thread got buried, what was the point of bumping this 3 weeks later? He's still up a little bit for the month and up big for the year. Will this case be opened when he has 2 good nights in a row? If these people have so much respect as they claim for Ferringo and Doc, they wouldn't be feeding the trolls after they have a rough night.

This is the whole problem with tailing a Tout to begin with.... Either you tail a guy for the WHOLE SEASON based upon a proven track record of consistent winning seasons and trustworthy accounting, or you don't tail at all!! The problem with this forum is that you have alot of people lurking and they see a guy who gets hot for a week or 2, and then they start to tail. When the guy regresses to the mean and goes from being up 100 units to up 70 like Ferringo, everyone starts flaming the guy because they came into the game late and caught a bad streak. Its just stupidity.... You gotta be on the guy for the whole marathon, and you can't get pissed because he ran mile 11 slower than you had hoped.....

Thats just my 2 cents.... I love RAS and Ferringo, and next season I will jump on board. But timing these guys is a good way to
