not sure, haven't really tried it, but there's a couple guys on here that have links after their post to somewhere that tracks their plays, i'm just to lazy to go to the work of duplicating all my picks without making any money off it, not that i hit 70% or nothing, more of a degenerate myself, but i can afford to be, an i enjoy it

seriously though, there was a guy on here called the juiceman that from what i understand used to post his picks on here, an i assume did well an he went on to have a paying service, so it wouldn't be without precedent

sounds good...i'll have a look around the site - Primarily, I don't want to piss anyone off by posting in the wrong section

get monitored by reputable monitor and if u do well its free advertising outside of cost for monitor...which isnt that much per season

then definately don't post your own picks in this section, people tend to freak out about that in general, there is other sections for handicappping each sport, so build a rep there. an don't start a new thread about a game folks are already talking about cause that rubs some the wrong way as well.

Yea, I know a couple of forum posters who had good runs, and then a service offered them a deal...

Well, I've started posting in the respective forums (NBA Handicapping, NFL Handicapping, etc...)

    Thanks for everyone's advice

It's very hard to become a service because it's hard to be successful at capping, hard to be successful at marketing, and EVERYBODY thinks they can be successful selling their picks. There are just many more touts these days than there have been before.

Juiceman stopped posting b/c his picks were losers almost everyday

If you dont know how to start a touting business, it is simple, buy cheap website, post stupid picks, pay some monitor to keep accurate records of your record, pay them more to "adjust" your record. Throw out lame guarantees, games of the year, lock of the month, pay after you win, money back guarantee, copy write-ups from other websites, sell people the dream, and then you will steal people's money. Never underestimate how dumb sports bettors/gamblers are and you will always make money off of them.

Continue to post plays in forums and help people in the beginning you will build a following and if you are a consistent winner you will make a lot of money and opportunities will be presented to you. Just keep winning consistently.

Follow what Maximus did. These guys love him like their dope dealer.

Cannon is correct. Post plays that are blowouts a half hour after they start and don't forget to change your close lines and count them as wins. That's what Tesla from the Maximus Report did. Now he has half the forum squares following him like sheep.

I think that most people follow the maximus report because they posy why they like a play. Instead of posting kentucky +1.5....they give a few reasons why they like it...easier to convince somebody if you have some stats or something to back ur reasoning

that is a great idea. Its not hard just ask Maximus. 1st thing is lie to your clients, 2nd always lie about your record 5-5 record is = 10-5 record

Although I 100% agree with how u feel about touts, your hatred is classic. And i didnt follow the Maximus like a sheep. Personally dont follow anyone but myself. But ur just a straight hater. He did win people some loot. And from what i seen they didnt post all that late. U jus got it in for touts. Its cool but ur posts are laughable

Do like this one capper does on another website....

He says he will post his "personal membership" selections but only after 10 minutes after they start "out of respect to his paying customers" Look at the picks and for some coinscidence...... the team(s) he picked have either ran back the opening kick-off for a TD or fumbled the catch at the 3yd line!!

I would document your picks on the spreadsheet supplied by SBR (look up by your name) then you can copy the link from the webbrowser to show in your signature. Just be sure to add your picks BEFORE the game starts so it is legit, otherwise you'll get a bunch of haters saying you added the picks once you knew it was a winner.

    Good Luck!

No offense, but with that record, I'm not sure you should be looking to charge for your picks... Overall -3.3 Units. Just my opinion though.....

That is a good point. It takes a keen eye to spot who is good and who is not. Rule of thumb: usually the best ones don't have websites.

A lot of folks from what I have seen have attempted to exploit the dumb bettors here at SBR in the regular forums. They get booted immediately. That, in my opinion makes this a really great sports forum. One really big one (large following --no record) won't mention the name recently got the boot, and has a new website up now. I would suggest to all of you to NEVER blindly play a tout's picks. You will not go anywhere in the long run.

Only decent way to make money in my opinion off of your own service is to accept donations; and all picks are free of charge. Think about it like this: no refunds, no responsibility except making the best picks you can, and you get to sleep at night. I know you would probably say that no one would donate; you would be surprised though, look at how points fly around here. Set up a site, and make enough money to offset the juice in your books.
