Thanks for the reply. How do you confirm it as a BookieBill slick bet? I was tailing him and loving until he stopped posting slick plays.

Not to mention, I have no clue how to interpret these last posts from BB:

  8. I dont need to do that cause like i just told him about half hour ago. Another one of my slicks made a big bet on that there tv game. less than a minute ago from web
  9. Vr asked me to send along a mesage to let you all know if my slick dont make no big bet so you aint expecting something that aint there.

VR is a BBill slicky. This time VR happens to be on the same side as the slick

I know VR is one of the BB slicks, but how do you confirm that one of VR's picks is also in agreement with the other 'slicks' that BB used to refer to when releasing a slick bet? Anyway, I'm pretty sure I have the answer in this particular case, after reading yet another of BB's posts. Just wish I knew VR's Jet pick yesterday was also a BookieBill slick play-- especially since VR, the so-called slick, lost on his own with KC.

I confirmed yesterday that the Jets pick was a slick bet, did you not see it? Thats about the only thing I'm good for in this forum. When I say it is a slick bet, play it like it is!!

    1. Bookie Bill posted: And one made a regular sized bet on it. That makes 3 of em with my boy betting the same thing to. 18 minutes ago from web
That means he got 1 big slick bet, 1 regular sized slick bet, and Vr's bet. So 3 slicks are on Saints.

If that's the only thing you're good for I'll take it, but how did YOU confirm it? Does he declare/advertise it as a Big Slick bet when you purchase his picks?

Thanks everyone for your replies. Just want to get my facts straight. Bookie Bill slays it.

Thanks LTrigger, I saw that. But he was calling it a BB slick bet before BB himself posted that.

Yes L Trigger you are correct, except VR aint no slick. He can't even pick his nose let alone a football game.

From what I understand, VR and Bill talk on a regular basis and Bill tells him what the slick bets are. Bill is not giving the slick bets out anymore, so I guess there is no way of knowing what the slicks are doing unless VR tells us.

dude i think you need to check your facts, VR is one of the best out there

so are the saints a 3 star or 5 staf play?

the "triple dime" statement had me thinkin 3 star, but then it says 5 star underneath it...

VR is one of the best baseball cappers out there. He has been on a slump with his 4* and 5* unit bets and has been streaky lately. If you follow him, my advice is to bet everything for the same amount. In the long run he will win more than he loses.

The temptation is there to follow him on Saint. I already have Pats +13 tied to something I did yesterday, so I'd love to middle it. I can't seem to get a better line than 3 though, or 2.5 if I purchase the 1/2 point. Kinda wish it would drop some more so I could just get a small ML, but at this point looks doubtful.

betus still has it at -2. I would not take it at -3. Experts say never to buy points. Kinda like insurance in blackjack. Its better to never do it.

I agree for the most part about buying points-- except when on 3 and 7. I'm also seeing Saint -3 at +118, so it would be about a normal bet to make it -2.5

even though bb is not really "posting" his slick bets anymore you can still figure them out by reading his posts on twitter.

Jayfly is right on the money. Bookie Bill speaks in code now. If you are sharp enough you can figure out what the slick bets are. I picked out two last week. I think he is trying to teach his twitter followers what to look for. I have been posting them when I confirm them. I got the forums back don't worry.

And by the way I aint hating on VR. I don't like his "square" betting style. The dude bets like 5-10 games a day. There is so many people on this forum who have lost big bucks following him. I follow him for his Bookie Bill connection. Perfect example was yesterday. He had New York Jets as the big slick play(Bookie Bills), and guess what his personal play was? Kansas City.. What idiot would bet a penny on KC at San Diego??? This same scenerio has happend numerous times since Bookie Bill has stopped giving out slick bets.

You guys are smart cappers, the only thing you really need to figure out is money management and you'll win. Trying to bet 2 units here and 5 units there is very hard. Bet the same amount always, I learned this out the hard way. I win way more than I lose but if I didn't bet "1 unit" on every play I would be loser. Use your head.

I think that's sound advice when following cappers. However, when I bet my own plays, I may put down more units if I REALLY feel it's worth more than other bets.

I think that's good advice. discipline is key in sports betting.
2 to 4 games on a busy day tops.

that is exactly right, the only people losing money on VR's picks are those that don't have any discipline. I don't care who you follow if you have no discipline you will lose money.
