This is why he started trying to get $25k for his picks this year. He simply COULD NOT have lived up to his records from the past. So he is gonna burn everyone either way - might as well try and get a cool $250K on his way down!

First time I played his plays cost me $1300. His record is inflated because you cant't get the lines he grades the plays with.

I would wait till all the college games have lines. Right now, RAS's options are very limited. But yes, you can't get his lines cause he moves them by a few points so really not worth betting IMO.

According to line tracking, it was available for about an hour today...

He is 1-6 his last seven if you bet the lines that were available when he released the selections. That is not so good.

Default A few facts about RAS 2009/10

Hope to clear up the chatter about RAS - nothing but Facts below.

    (1) His lines are 100% legit - I've watched every release. The problem with playing his games after seeing them posted in forums is that the lines move about 20 seconds after he posts his plays. Typically 1 to 1.5 points for sides and 3 points for over unders.

    (2) Record this year on sides is 28-20 (56% net) at the time he releases the plays but only 25-22 (51%) using lines 1 hour after he posts.

    (3) Record this year on totals is 4-1 at the time of release and 3-2 one hour after.

    (4) Service fees, $750 for sides. There is no indication as to what the totals fee will be, I'm guessing $1000, no idea where you're coming up with the $25k?.

    (5) Good and bad days. He's had two bad days so far this year. Nov 19th he was -2.3 units and yesterdays debacle -4.4. After the Nov 19th loss he bounced back and went 4-1 on both the 20th and 21st.

I would not fade these picks as I think he is good and I'm up +7 units since it started on the 12th.

That said, I would only be up 1-2 units if I didn't play the games at the time of release and thus, best to pass if you're seeing lines 1-2 points above his release.

    I hope that helps

It is always good to fade a guy who moves lines on every play he releases, I mean, he must be horrible if he moves lines on every single play he releases.

    Horrible ?

Typically one of the best ways to measure a good capper is the line moves. Good cappers find lines that are mispriced and play them. The money follows and the lines move. If you played his games at the time of the release you would have plays with lines 1-2 points better than everyone else. That is a formula for winning.

I don't argue with the idea of fading a line 2-3 points up but the idea that the capper is bad is completely wrong.

    wow

okay, a couple of mistakes you guys are making, which will keep separating you from your money.

    1. Does it sound like a good idea to judge a service based on a 4 game stretch, or the 57% winners over 945 plays?

    2. Anything over 55% is world-class fellas

    3. Should you really be slamming someone's releases when he is 57% lifetime, but 65% for the year? Going into yesterday he was 32-17 for 65%. so would it be more likely to see his winning % move to or away from his lifetime %?

    4. The Guy Moves Lines!!!!

I couldn't remember if he was looking for 10 people at $25k or 25 at $10k. Either way - I understand he moves lines - if he is that good - of course he will. I am also not bashing the guy. I was simply stating a point that its tough to keep up the totals run he had last year - he knows it - and was looking to cash in on it. Not a bad thing at all. I wish him the best of luck - I hope he smokes it this year and anyone who paid the $10k - I hope they make that back in a month!! Was just stating my theory about perfect knowledge. RAS has perfect knowledge and knows that he doesn't have some secret - he was really really good last year and is looking to cash in on it now before he goes on some cold streak.
