lillefty 1* lakers -13 over the Knicks - lakers have been extremely solid since Gasol returned. They have had no problems at all transitioning him into the lineup. Against 3 defensive minded teams in OKC,Chi and det, the lake show has averaged 105 a game. Agaist a sloppy defensive team like the knicks, I can see a 115-120 being put up. The Knicks have only played away from home 3 times in the last 10 games. Going cross country and getting a hot team., they could and should be in a spot to get bulldozed here.

John Keelan(abats computer simulator) Siena -18.5 Delaware on the road is not good. Delaware has the dubious distinction of being one the lowest scoring teams in the country.
lillefty 2** Cornell +14 over Syracuse - let down spot for Syracuse here after ambushing the Tar Heeels and the Golden Bears over the weekend. I am sure that Cornell relishes the chance to play a big name school here and earn some respect in a game that could really help their seeding come tourney time. Cornell is deep and experienced and have the ability to shoot over as well as attack the 2-3 zone...side note.. I hate the fact that just like Rutgers on Saturday all the cappers are on this play. There are certain signs that don't bode well for you and this is one of them.
2** Toronto -5 over Indiana- one thing that I have found to be true in the NBA is that one team gives another team a good beat down, play on the team that got crushed the next game. NBA players remember these things even when they carry over to another season. Indiana overall doesn't matchup well with Toronto as they cover about 30% of the time vs the raps over the last 4 or 5 years. Toronto gets Belinelli back tonight so they will be back at full strength. Indy is playing bad ball right now on both offense and defense. With revenge motivating them, look for the Raps to give a good spanking to the Pacers tonight.
1* Ball st +11 - This is a good matchup for the cardinal. Their strong point is their running game and W.Michigan gives up almost 5 yds per carry. Ball st has been playing hard and staying within the # while playing against some of the top MAC schools(N.ILL,Ohio,) They panicked last week vs CMU and got away from the run game and the result was predictable. W. Mich has been blown out many times due to their lack of defense. They have been giving up 31ppg in their last 7 games. They are a false .500 team IMO because they have considerably less 1st downs, time of possession, rushing yds, and turnovers than their opponents. Ball st stays inside a TD tonight.
2** sacramento st +18.5 over Idaho - this line seems way out of whack here I have it a 10 pt game. Sac st just beat oregon st and have more than held their own in the So. Alabama game. That game was decided late with free throws that let the score get out of hand. Sac st has shot the ball very effectively so far hitting close to 50% and I feel is an underrated team at this stage. Idaho is one of the better teams in the WAC, but has struggled so far this season, losing to pacific and texas southern(a horrible loss). Idaho wins this game on talent alone, but the points are too much to pass up here in this one.
1* cal-fullerton -5 over N Mex st - Off their huge win over UCLA, Fullerton has had 8 days to come down off that high. In their first game back they are catching a NM St team that just lost 2 of their top 3 scorers to academic suspension. NM st barely got by the juggernaut Panhandle st(that is their name) and it took a late run to do that. I compare this game to the central florida-umass game we had earlier in the year. UMASS was barely sneaking by a vastly inferior opponent and in came a team full of confidence and enthusiasm. Cal-Full is in the same boat now. The only reason I am not going higher with the rating is the chance of a big let down even after a week.
