    The Las Vegas Hilton opened at N Carolina minus 1. The number quickly rose to 2 before settling at 1.5 for the rest of the day.

    Analysis

    My oddsmaking system has this game going at Ohio State -1.
    Thus, I believe that the Vegas oddsmakers bumped the opening line 2 points in North Carolina’s favor. The betting public then initially bet it up to 2 before it settled for the day.
