The Underdog is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in this series. The Warriors have covered two of the last three in this series and they normally play the Cavs pretty close. The Cavs haven’t been playing up to their normal defensive standards of the past couple years and we think that the Warriors can get their offense going tonight even with some uncertainty with injuries and players being moved and coming in from the trade with Charlotte yesterday. Cleveland is hot and they have won seven of their last eight, but they are not thumping other teams like you would expect for a line this large. There is only one game all season where the Cavs would have covered a number this large and that was against the T-Wolves, who, unlike these Warriors, have no offense.

Five of the last six meetings in this series have gone under the posted number. The Bulls have been playing some awesome defense lately and haven’t allowed an opponent to 100 points in seven straight games. That stretch included games against Denver, Toronto and Cleveland. Sacramento has been an over team this season but they really haven’t played a lot of strong defensive teams this season and this could be their toughest defensive test yet. Chicago doesn’t have an explosive offense and they play good defense and they will force the Kings to play their game tonight.

This would have been a much bigger play if we would have gotten in early at the higher number before the sharps pounded it overnight but we still think there is some value here on the under. The Rockets have played many up-tempo squads this season and only one of their 10 games would have gone over this posted number. Most have gotten nowhere close to this high of a score. This squad has actually managed to keep some good teams down and held the Lakers under 100 (in regulation) in two meetings thus far this season.

Another break? Since I have been following him, he has been extremely unlucky.....a few late backdoor covers, and three times he has had teams score 10+ in the last minute of a game to send a total over when he played the under.

I call it getting even. It's amazing you can't just say he was on the right side. The total covered by 10 points.....doesnt matter how or "win"(see what I did there), just that it covered.

I live in chicago and was watching that game - thought we had no chance going into the 4th - then it was like neither team could hit a shot, they were running the clock down, and Chicago got up enough that there weren't any fouling at the end of the game. Overall that was a fun game to have a couple bucks on!!
