Spartan, a clean 5-0 yesterday. Things are starting to turn and after 3 losing triples in a row. Only three games on Saturday's card, GL everyone.

double-dime bet 210 Arkansas -13.5 (-110) BetUs vs 209 Troy
Analysis: Bobby Petrino has his Razorbacks smelling a bowl appearance and I feel confident they will be focused and prepared for this late season non conference battle with Troy. Obviously Troy will be sky high and they just live for games like this and have proven in the past they can be a pain to deal with if not taken seriously. With that said I do not feel Arkansas wi¯ll be looking past this team and I do look for another strong effort from the hogs. Quarterback Ryan Mallett is playing with total confidence and it is showing. We rode the Razorbacks to victory last week against South Carolina and I am prepared to back them again here. I feel Arkansas controls the line of scrimmage here and makes enough big plays to clear the number for us. Double Star release on Arkansas laying the 13.5 points.

double-dime bet 170 Kansas St. 0.0 (-110) BetUS vs 169 Missouri
Analysis: I will say that at the outset of this season I felt this was going to be a solid win for Mizzou. I had very little regard for the Wildcats and went against them against Louisiana Lafayette and UCLA as they just were not shwoing much on either side of the ball. However Bill Snyder has been working his magic and has his kids truly believing they can win the Big 12 north, and now they actu¯ally have the chance at hand if they take care of business at home against Missouri and then when they knock heads with the Huskers. Missouri is off a total meltdown at home against Baylor, a game they led by 11 at the half and then were pushed around the second half by a Baylor team led by a freshman quarterback who started the season as the third string signal caller. There is a lot of locker room unrest and players mumbling about both teammates and coaches. Perhaps they can flip a switch come saturday and produce a huge effort but frankly I am not seeing it. Kansas State has been hard as nails at home and Daniel Thomas has to be one of the best running backs nobody talks about. I just do not trust this Missouri team right now and I do trust Bill Snyder to once again have his kids prepared to take that next step.

triple-dime bet 162 Pittsburgh -6.5 (-110) BetUS vs 161 Notre Dame
Analysis: Big prime time battle as the Irish venture into Pittsburgh to try and rebound from a long day last week against Navy. When I look at both these teams I see a more athletic team on the Panthers side. Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt has recruited very well and the results are showing. I do…n't think there can be much debate that Notre Dame gets a bump with the odds makers because of their name, talent wise I don't see Notre Dame being this close to Pitt, not this season. The emergence of freshman running back Dion Lewis and the steady hand of quarterback Bill Stull have the Panthers actually poised to make a serious run at a BCS Bowl. Big key will the the Panthers ability to deal with the blitz's the Irish will no doubt be bringing saturday night on a regular basis. Notre Dame is just not there guys and I am by no means an Irish hater, not in the least. But until Charlie Weis can find a way to attract true blue chip recruits, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, I see their team continuing to fall short of their fan base's lofty expectations. I find this price at -6.5 a value and look for the Panthers to continue their march toward a major bowl appearance. Triple Star release on the Pitt Panthers -6.5!
