2-Unit Play #707 Take Minnesota/Golden State UNDER 213 (10:30 p.m. EST, Monday)
Although we agree the tempo will be fast in this one we just saw this line and thought it was a few points too high and think that there is some value on the under. Minnesota is one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA, rankings No. 26 in points scored at 91 PPG and they are among the worst in several other major offensive categories as well. The last two meetings between these teams have gone under as well. The public loves to bet the over when the high-scoring Warriors are involved but their totals are often overadjusted by the oddsmakers and Nine of their last 12 games stretching back to last season have gone under. Minnesota has also been trending to the under as 24 of their last 32 stretching back to last season have gone under the posted total. Just not confident Minnesota can score enough to get this one over the total and also don’t trust the Warriors enough right now to make them a side play but we feel like the total is the way to go here.

3-Unit Play #710 Take LA Clippers +1 Over New Orleans (10:30 p.m. EST, Monday)
Both teams have started off bad here but we feel like the Hornets have been the worst team of these two and we think just because of “name” recognition here that we are getting the Clips at an underdog price. Our line actually had the Clippers laying 2 ½ so there is some nice value here, in our opinion. The Hornets are winless in four road contests and they come in on a back-to-back after getting slapped around in this same building last night by the Lakers, a game they were probably a lot more interested in than this one. And the Clippers had the night off last night. Of the Hornets two wins one was in OT, the only ‘quality’ win over Dallas, and they also beat the Kings. This team just does not look good right now and the Clippers are very confident and motivated and have won three straight and have looked pretty good in most of their games this season.

I'm a big fan of Doc as well, but there's always gonna be some bad weeks. Think of the upsets this week where he played the favorite, Penn St, Michigan, Notre Dame all upset. Ravens on Sunday. Not necessarily bad handicapping, just a bad break. He'll have winning weekends to make up for this if you can manage your bankroll long enough.
