so, from what i understand, you would buy three points on utah tonight, and that would be the 'A' play, if they lose you chase tomorrow an that's the 'B' play, etc. is this correct?

you are referring to the football system I believe. The basketball system is different. There are some that don't buy the points and that is your call. The points made the difference in winning and losing a few series last year.

do you think its safer to skip the a bets and only bet b and c bets since they have a higher winning percentage and involves less chasing?

Everyone tries to reinvent the wheel. Dont bet A Bet A+B skip C , Bet only B+C, don't buy points, pick and choose which games they like. In the end all these factors work AGAINST you. Originally Posted by JIMBOK

so far the A wagers are 4-0. Debate whether Denver Game 4 of 6 on road was an (A) play (lost) because no confirmed email sent by JM yet inrules states it is a play.

You are not the 1st person who might think this way. This system has been around for years.
The bottom line is do what you think is best for you and learn. If you jump around and change in mid stream it will affect results especially if you cut in or out at the wrong time.

Whatever you choose to do, just be consistent. I evaluate each series and determine if I am playing it. If I choose to play it, I play all 3 bets and buy the points. Whatever you do, just do the same thing or you will always make the wrong call.........

say you bet $150 on the first game to win $100 (as you are buying 3 points) an you lose. to chase that bet you bet $375 to win back the $150 you lost and the $100 you would have won, etc. until you win, correct me if i'm wrong anyone

Some people argue that buying the points are too costly and it won't matter much. I have followed this system for a few years now and buying the points come into effect more than people realize. ( I can only buy 2)
People might have to follow the system on their own to learn for themselves how the system works and how gut wrenching "C" wagers really are.
Others use the "Labourchere" money management principle.

buy 3 points and lets say you pay 180 for the three points and you wanna win $100. the bets go as follows; $180 to win $100 A $504 to win $280 B $1,412 to win $784 C get it? got it? fantastico!!!!!!
