Analysis: Certainly not a game many will consider a value but frankly I do. The Kansas City Chiefs are a miserable football team that was hoping to be making significant strides at this point of the season and it just has not happened. Way too much discontent within the ranks and Todd Haley appears, at least at this point, to be in over his head as a new head coach. I will give the defense some credit for showing some heart but it gets tough when the offense continues to be inept. They signed Cris Chambers this week after he was let go but in my view it will take much more than that. The offensive line is about as leaky as they come. The Jaguars are, despite the record, a much superior team and I do look for a solid bounce back after the loss at Tennessee last week. Word has it Jack Del Rio has not lost his team and I firmly believe the Jaguars are getting just what the doctor ordered with this Chiefs team coming to town. Very´ reasonable price here. Double Star on Jacksonville!

Analysis: I realize many will feel there is value with the Dolphins catching these points but I am just not buying into it. Impressive showing last week by Miami against the Jets but please keep in mind it took not one but two long returns by Ted Ginn to get it done. I have a real difficult time seeing that sort of thing against the Patriots special teams. I trust that the Patriots coaching staff will be prepared to´ defense the Dolphins wildcat attack. I still feel that Miami secondary can be had and we have the perfect quarterback in Tom Brady to get it done and expose them. Plus we all know the Patriots are not exactly known for taking their foot off the gas once they gain a lead. They do not hesitate once they smell blood to go for the jugular. I applaud Chad Henne for the job he has done stepping in a the quarterback for Miami and feel he likely is a legitimate guy for the job long term. I just feel he is overmatched here and hope he observes some as he watches a true master at work in Brady. Not many people are giving the Patriots a ton of respect yet, I imagine that will be changing the next few weeks. Love New England here to win this one at home by a couple of touchdowns minimum.

Analysis: Another game that likely will not be on many guys cards but I like the Titans getting the points here against the 49ers. Jeff Fisher has seemingly held his team together through a brutal start and last week was an impressive o´uting as they won convincingly. That first victory sometimes is the hardest to get and good teams feed off that sort of thing and that is exactly what I am banking on here. I look for this to be a very, very hotly contested game and I predict the winner will prevail by a field goal at most. The record does not show it at this point of the season obviously but man for man I still feel the Titans are every bit as strong as the 49ers. There is still a ton of football to be played and Fisher will have the Titans more than ready to rumble. I know Singletary will as well with his squad. My gut just tells me this is a nail biter to the bitter end and I'm taking the Titans getting the 4.5 and without hesitation. Not a pretty or trendy selection but it'll cash just the same.
