Free NFL pick from Doc's Sports - #108 Take Chicago -3 over Arizona (Sunday 1 pm FOX)
The Red Birds have some questionable losses on the season and some impressive wins. Last week they got blown out by Carolina, a team that is likely to make major changes once this season is completed. The Bears got healthy last week against Cleveland, winning that game, 30-6. This team needs to keep winning to stay two games behind the Vikings, a team they have yet to play this season. The weather should also play a factor, as the Birds do not like to travel north in November. The Bears need this game and they get it by double digits. They pressure QB Warner for sixty minutes and we collect big in the process as well. Do not forget to sign-up for Doc’s Sports top play winner in college football. We easily nailed our top play last week and will look for our fifth straight top play winner in college football on Saturday. You can get it for only $25 if you purchase our Saturday Top Game.
Free college football pick from: Vegas Sports Informer - Take #334 Take Iowa State (+7.5) over Oklahoma State (3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7)
Oklahoma State comes into Ames, Iowa, fresh off a whipping at home against Texas and I think they might get caught napping here against a team looking to increase their bowl chances under first year head coach Paul Rhoads. Making a bowl would be a big accomplishment in Rhoads’ first year and they are getting some players back this week, namely quarterback Austen Arnaud and offensive lineman Reggie Stephens. Meanwhile Oklahoma State has lost some firepower, losing wide receiver Desmond Bryant and their running back Kendall Hunter is banged up. I think this is a dangerous spot on the road facing a Cyclones that is looking for payback from a 59-17 loss last year.
Free NFL football pick from: Robert Ferringo - Take ‘Under’ 52.0 Carolina at New Orleans (4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8)
Let’s see if we can score by going against the grain. Over the past four years the 'under' has hit at nearly 80 percent and the 'under' is 22-7 in these situations over the last 29 trials. In fact, this year the ‘under’ is 2-1 against totals of 50.0 or higher and that includes a Saints game against Buffalo that stayed under by nearly three touchdowns. After the Saints erupted again on Monday Night Football for all the world to see the books will be getting all ‘over’ money on this game. But I think it could be a letdown spot after that big MNF football win. And even that game shouldn’t have gone ‘over’ with two defensive touchdowns pumping up the total. Carolina doesn't have nearly as strong of an offense as Atlanta does. But they managed 35 points last week so they are a bit inflated right now as well. And because the Panthers prefer to run the ball the clock should keep ticking. The ‘under’ is 7-2 in the last Nine meetings and we’re going to “bet with the books” this w! eek and get on the side that you know they need as well.
Free college football pick from: Strike Point Sports - Take #306 Take Temple -17.5 over Miami (Ohio) (7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5)
Maybe this seems too obvious, but at some point you stop questioning a good thing and get on this cash cow called Temple until they run dry. The Owls continue to dominate in MAC play, and their opponents this week in the form of the Redhawks aren't exactly formidable. Temple was able to run all over Navy last week on the road. They shouldn't have a problem doing just as much at home against a bad Miami defense. Lay the points in this one, as Temple stays in line to earn a birth to the MAC Championship Game.
