Last night I questioned his pick on Phoenix and I was right. Today I feel the same about Chicago pick and I truly hope I will not be right again! Maybe I will skip this one!

Right now I can see 5 games live and one of them, half way down is scoreless. Can you guess which one?

Hey BJ, great post, thanks for the great input. I'm sure everyone who bet on the over will appreciate your insight. Not to mention all of the folks saying your posts are worthless, this will certainly change their mind. Great stuff!! Thanks and good luck with the rest of your plays tonight!

Best thing about the DIU crew is one is down the others are there to pick you up and win you money.

Stansfield under VA Tech 51 = 10 Dimes
Bama over North Ill. = 15 Dimes
    Fireman under Clev 191.5 = 5 Dimes

Looks like a 3-0 start for the rest of the crew.

Hammer will bounce back and rip off another huge run, anytime he has had a bad couple day stretch he has bounced back huge!!!

Thanks for the reassurance Fireman! I think the worst part to hammer losing is having to listen to BJ's posts proceeding it.

Is it your way of saying that it is not safe to bet only on hockey? Should be the whole package or nothing? I don't think many people placed bets on all the picks of DiceItUpOnline, so who should I choose next time?

good question I would like to know the same

Im almost broke now because of these picks, but figure I have to keep playing if I want to come out of it

I'm not saying it's not safe to bet hockey and tail Hammer. If you have stayed with him all season through every pick you would be up BIG! I'm just saying that Dice It Up gives you a lot of options through a bunch of different winning cappers. If you are unhappy with Hammer's plays and feel like you aren't winning money through him, there are other cappers on the site that are winning and up BIG as well. Between Hammer, Fireman, and Stansfield, you would be up over 300 DIMES. Every capper is winning you money. Yea there will be loses and but with DIU you get consistent winning plays no matter which capper you tail. Keep supporting us and we'll continue to keep winning money. Remember we bet all of our plays as well. Good Luck to all and thanks for the support.

Yes, fading Hammer may become an option from now on! I was smart not to bet on CHI, but not smart enough to bet on PHX! Next time! For now I am on red on Hammer's picks and that's all it matters! He might be many dimes up because he did well in the beginning of the season and maybe he won many 20 Dimes. Always hoping that tomorrow will be better is not a smart way of betting. NHL is hard for everybody so it's gonna be hard to find a good capper!

Does that mean you'll stop posting in hammers nhl picks? That would be great.

Generally I stay out of these discussions but I want to add a few things. Firstly, I handicap hockey but generally only towards the end of the season BECAUSE it is very difficult to cap....for many reasons which I cant get into now. That being said, Hammer's run so far has been beyond sick. The NHL has the most parity of any sport and the beginning to the season, in my opinion, is a complete crapshoot. With that being said, Hammer's system (of which I know nothing about) is nothing short amazing and could unify the laws of physics. I can honestly say I could not hit the NHL at this point in the season anywhere near what he is doing....which is why i'm staying away. Second, with regards to BJ's previous post, it's never "safe" to bet anything. You have to know the risk you run betting on hockey, football, baseball, darts, midget tossing, whatever. Third, bet within your means and dont chase....especially cappers. We have hot and cold streaks like anyone. I know some of you are frustrated, but this business is a marathon, not a sprint. You have to have a set bankroll and stay within your betting limits. One guy said he lost $1300. That's ok if its within your means. If its not, then you need to slow down or seek help. Keep checking our website as we will soon be adding educational pieces to the daily blog on how to avoid the pitfalls of the sports betting industry.
    BOL to all.

I completely disagree with your statement about the nhl being a complete crapshoot. That's complete nonsense, in my mind it is the second easiest sport to cap behind baseball. Every night there is a good amount of "value" picks between underdogs, and puck lines. The thing that really bothers me about Hammer's picks, is their is no valid reasoning behind any of his picks. Looking at the detroit/san jose over, what makes you like the over? Detroit is coming of a shutout and if you watched the bruins-wings it was clear osgood had found his form. San Jose had allowed only 6 goals in their previous 5 games combined! Now who in their right mind would take the over? The Nashville pick even confuses me more. You have a top ten, maybe even top 7 as far as talent goes in the Ducks, who were a very desperate team going into last night. Against an average, at best team, who posted a a losing road record. Same with the phoniex over colorado pick the previous night. If a pick loses, but is back with strong reasoning I have no problem with it. But to me it seems like this guy literally has no clue.

bo281, I wasnt looking to start a war and I'm glad you have had success with the NHL. But I said it was a craphoot "in my opinion", so you dont need to call my statements "complete nonsense". My capping methods dont equate well early on in the NHL which is why I stay away. I have found that I have more success later on in the season when I have a body of work to look at. I agree with you that the NHL overall offers a lot of value in the lines, but I mostly stay away early (unless I see something I really like) until the teams start to get some consistency.
    BOL to you all

Stansfield don't let some of these guys get under your skin. The vast majority of us are grateful for the FREE picks the site has provided us with. It just cracks me up that the picks are free and people still bitch and complain. If you don't like the picks, then don't play them. Why even bother with a thread where you don't like the picks? I would just skip over threads like that. But some people have a lot of time on their hands.

southmadejd, thanks for the support and I dont let it get under my skin. I usually stay away from the boards, but I must say I like the banter. I'm glad you are all in here debating because you should be calling out the cappers, especially the guys that are making money off of you, and questioning the picks they give you rather than blindly following. That includes all of us at Dice. I have never been for "blindly" following anyone, use our picks as guidance. Just be sure to hit the website gents. Over and out for the weekend. I will have my NFL picks up soon, so check them out.

    BOL to you all
