Analysis: When I started breaking this game down I was going in thinking Atlanta and looking for some solid reasons to take the points and the more I looked at it the more I strayed away from the Falcons and toward the Saints. This New Orleans team is in the zone right now and ready to showcase themselves on the prime time stage of Monday Night football. As of now this number has crept all the way to 12 and may go even further north. The books have not been standing pat with this number as it has been creeping, I suspect they fear a Saints 2 TD or more victoryž and the way Drew Brees has this offense hitting on all cylinders it is more than possible. I feel the Falcons secondary is suspect and the Saints obviously have all the weapons needed to expose them. I did my due diligence and there are some trends supporting both sides so I'll bypass the trends and take the hottest team in football right now anxious to put on a big show for the home crowd monday night. I just feel the books set this number too low and now are scrambling to adjust it, a lot of folks will take the Falcons and the points feeling like they got an incredible value, I'll go ahead and lay the points and look for the Saints to keep the thing rolling along here tonight. Saints win this thing by at least two touchdowns in my view.
