Playing the number here first and most of all.
This is an UNDER game in the minds of many. Thereupon, for an UNDER game, the number is 3.5 points too high. When you combine that with uncertain weather, you add another 3 points to the UNDER case. Hence we are faced with a game that is 6.5 points too high, for what should be an UNDER bet! Makes sense?
I believe Colorado keeps this close. The Tigers have the ability to score in every quarter. The way Colorado keep it close is by holding their end of the bargain in scoring. Yes, they've been awful and they were absolutely terrible last week where they could only manage 6 pts, but no matter what, you have to play the NUMBERS in this business! The total opened at 47.5

For this particular bet - Because this is "home" court for Jurgen Melzer. At best of times, he's a bugger who scrambles and never gives up. With home crowd support he might just get up in the end (although I highly doubt it) But Tipsarevic also has the ability to drift in and out of matches, whereas Jurgen Melzer has the ability to get on your nerves. Tipsarevic is a highly temperamental tennis player, which makes the FULL MATCH PICK a bit of a crapshoot in the end!
Therefore, I think the only bet option here is FIRST SET ONLY.
First set should see a very high percentage of serves in for Tipsarevic. He's quite hard to break. Melzer might be hard to break for 3 games or so, but once you get on top of that swinging left hand serve, you get on top of his whole game. Tipsarevic is a very smart person and a very smart player. Like I said, this might go the distance in the first set (if Melzer keeps holding serve!) However, I believe Tipsarevic should get the first set here.
If you can't bet First Set, pass on the whole match and we'll look at NCAAF and NBA board ...

It true that Aussie just recently went professional. He offered freebies for years on the covers forum. Many of us read whom regularly read his posts and played his picks profited.
He doesn't win them all, but in his own way he puts a lot of thought and effort into his picks.
Just follow for a awhile and judge for yourself. I'll ping him to see if I can get a W/L record for 2009.
