This is just in my opinion. Like I stated in my first thread, I was a tout for vegasinsider.com for a handful of years and got to know a lot of the crooks....errr....touts. The few I trust have some big stuff going on Tomorrow for 10.31:

Wayne Root - Guaranteeing a 3-0 day in CFB or his NFL GOY is Free on Sunday. Yeah, I know it's business and this 3-0 guarantee sales will make up for a 'free' NFL GOY play if it doesn't hit, but the guy was murdered last week in CFB and that is rare. He bounced back with a 5-1 NFL Run the next day.

Ron Meyer - Works on same site with Root. He has his CFB GOY tomorrow. Root missed on his CFB GOY so I'm anxious to see what Meyer's is. I don't think both guys will miss on their GOY of plays, and Meyer tears it up in CFB. He used to be Va Tech's D-Coordinator I believe...?? I might be mistaken on the coaching position, but he also spent time coaching in the NFL, so he knows his stuff.

ATL Lock -- Don't follow them big time but have seen that the do pretty well. I personally don't know their reputation to be honest, but they have their GOY tomorrow as well. From what I've seen of them, the seem pretty decent.

I always keep in mind that this "Game of the Year" stuff is nothing more than a pick that they like a little more than their other plays. I'm sure you guys know that "Game of the Year" or "Game of the Month" etc. is nothing but marketing to get more sales. That being said, don't drop a bankroll on GOY plays! I know I sound like a douchebag by saying that, but I can't tell you how many people have done exactly that. They have lost their entire bankrolls or close to it on GOY plays. All that crap is, is just marketing, however, they do have to be pretty confident to deem a play their actual GOY. Money management, man! Now let's destroy the books tomorrow!

Just the fact that you said said root and meyer are trust worthy and are promoting their picks automatically makes your integrity questionable. Root is one of the biggest marketing scam touts there is. He has a goy every week and about 20 different clubs and packages to spread out his loses.

You can believe that, Khaden. I have no agenda. Some people know Root for that but he has 2 sites that he works for and he is hitting a legit 67% this year CFB, and that is after a horrible week last week. He's one of the few that is documented by the handicapping service out of Oklahoma. I'm not trying to talk up any of these guys. I hate touts, and it's one of the reason I quit at VI.com. I basically see what these few guys and maybe some others (Burns, Kelso and maybe one more) are on and get analysis. I still handicap my own games and bet my own games.

One more thing, Khaden: In my original thread, you can see I wrote that these guys market their GOY simply to get sales. I said that outright. I'm very aware that it's nothing more than a pick that they like a little more than their other plays. So as you can see, I really have no agenda. Just trying to share insight.

ive been following root for about the past month or so and he's been pretty solid, Kelso has been hitting about 75% for me over the past month or so...........if you play their picks and maybe 2 other solid ones i feel like worst case scenario you end up going for a 2-2 split but most of the time you're good for 3-1

granted i have only seen hustler a couple times but every time he is begging for picks... and you have completely wrong about kelso... i have tracked him along with many other cappers and kelso is 13-14 -172 units this month in college and 21-21 -229 units all year in college... however he is 10-5 the past month in NFL +375 and 12-9 +320 over all... get your facts right before you start saying anything!!! as much as i dislike touts that lie about there records and scam people...i can't stand sloppy betters that have no idea what they are talking about... though you are right about wayne root, he is doing well this year

Icethekicker, I'm not trying to flame, but how can you base a decision on whether a handicapper is good or not buy simply following their picks for a month or half a season in football, and then talk about how you hate you hate sloppy bettors? You cannot follow a guy for a month or half of a season and decide if he's good or not. I'm talking about guys that do well on a consistent basis. And by that, I don't mean 70% because that's just not realistic. If you can find a handicapper that can hit 59% or slightly above every season in a certain sport, then that person is good. You will make decent money at 59%. I do agree that 99% of touts are nothing but scam artists. Go look at how many scammers....errr....touts are at vegasinsider. I've seen it first hand, and was a part of it. I wanted my percentage and units posted for the entire season and easy to find, and VI buries that stuff pretty deep and they have a 'nifty' way of advertising, like most touts do.

It was more to let people know that I have some credibility and know how the touting works. I even told people that 'GOY' and things like that are basically a joke and to use money management in my first post because I've seen people drop bankrolls on 'GOY' plays. As far as Root, he's legit. Maybe you don't know about the guy but I trust him and I'll leave it at that. Do I always like his plays? No. But he wins. Period. Reason I say that is because some people don't know who to follow. I'm not trying to get you to buy his picks! They are posted for free, guys! So I'm not hyping him for financial reasons, obviously.

For my percentages: I did very well and have done well for years. I actually use a computer system, so I'm one of those guys. In fact, here are my 2:30 plays: Michigan, Arizona St, Air Force for 1 Unit each and Miami, Toledo for 2 Units. So my answer: Yes, I do better than most of the touts who are posted on this site, 19th hole. I'll just try to stick to posting plays and maybe giving insight only if people ask.
