He didn't. I followed him (Merril) all of last season with these stats:

    Reg season: 139 picks ~ 57.6% ~ ROI 105.1%
    PlayOff: 63 picks ~ 65.1% ~ ROI 122.5%

Note; this is not an official record, but the picks I played, sometimes at a lower or higher price than posted.

Record doesn't really mean profit guys, Doc sports prob made ppl the most profit even with a low winning percentage. But his 4-5 units won more than his 3 units and under.

Mike Lineback, James Manos, and Teddy Covers, stick with these guys and you will win.

im not that familiar with reading these win/loss numbers. for example, doc sports has 155 wins and 123 losses giving him a 56% accuracy. if i started off with a bankroll of $10,000.00, what would be my bankroll now less the juice?

    a 5% bet of $10,000 is 500. 155-123=32. 32X500=16,000-juice= your profit. But, I could be wrong, lol

Not sure if the numbers match up here or not, but Doc has a PDF on his website that details his 2008-2009 year.

    http://www.docsports.com/pdf/2008-nba-doc.pdf

If you started out with $10,000.00 and bet $100/unit (Doc's units go from 1-8), you would have won $10,380.00 for last year and your new bankroll would be $20,380.00. He has already taken out the 10% juice from all his losses.

    155-123 record
Flat wage 1 unit per game:
(155-123)*1-123*0.1=19.7 units, Based on -110 juice.
1 unit = 5% of bankroll, 5%*19.7=98.5% in return of your bankroll.

Profit margin based on the money you risked will be:
    19.7/[(155+123)*1.1]=6.442%
It is a good margin for business.

Statistically speaking, the more you vary your wager value, the more chance you will get break even
