BOSTON at CLEVELAND OVER 185.5 Let’s see! The Last time I tackled a game like I’m going to do this one, was the Seminoles doing battle against UNC! I bet First Half Over. We all know how that went. That will probably one of the hardest bets lost to have taken. I would have played that OVER 10 times out of ten. It went precisely as I anticipated it to go. FSUL covered, the Game went over, It was a “sure bet” on the under in the minds of many, Vegas played on that very fact that it was a “lock” on the under and really lowered the number too low. We picked the OVER, but not the right over... The fool in me, picked First Half Over, and we lost it by the hook. The game went well and truly OVER just to rub it in. And what we thought would be one of the easiest wins after a score fest in the First Quarter turned out to be a bitter loss after a brutal scoreless second Quarter ... Not the easiest of games to forget for me, and not the easiest bad beat to have to take either...but I’d better move on ... I am picking the OVER in this Season Opener for almost the same reasons I played the over in that College Football game I just mentioned above. This is the highest Profile game of the night! Heck ... this would be the highest profile game on any given night. Shaq; How is he going to work with Le Bron! It’s a big question on everyone’s mind. Will he play any defense in this new team or will he continue the same laxy-dasy D as he displayed last season. How’s the Green Machine going to start this new season as they come up against one of the very best ever, LBJ?! This is what makes this a very very high profile game. Everyone knows that what Boston does best is Staunch stingy Defense. Vegas knows what everyone is thinking. Therefore the number has opened even lower than normal, making this a very tight squeeze. For a game that should stay UNDER, the total has opened way way too high in my estimation. Had it been opened at 181-182 I would have re-considered. But opening at 188 this is definetely an OVER BET! Well and truly! I hope all of the blabber above made some sense to you.
